All maintenance and repair requests must be submitted ONLINE via TENANT PORTAL or in writing, with the exception of an emergency request. These emergency items should be phoned in immediately. In comparison to the other property management companies I applied with during our relocation from the Central Coast back to Tulare, Bankston Property Management was by far the most professional, responsive, communicative, and kind! With all the other property management companies I had to take the initiative to follow up and never was contacted by them. Specially if you are using a cosigner. I explained my situation before applying for a house that supposedly did Not have any applications yet.... I turned in my application on the following day around 8 am. I was told they also needed my mother's taxes. So I left got them and dropped them off. The next day at 12:29 pm I got a call, saying I got denied.

Own a home next to one of their properties. They are unresponsive, rude , unprofessional and don't maintain their properties. Could not believe the way they talked to me, condescending. Uncalled for, considering the only reason I needed to contact them was because they were dragging a 5 minute issue out 5 months. Ridiculous circus of an experience. I feel for anyone doing business with this totally rude company.

Going through a relocation is difficult but I found Bankston Property Management to be very helpful. They represented some beautiful properties and my first point of contact, Elizabeth, was extremely professional and helpful. After a long holiday weekend, I contacted them to see 2 properties. I submitted an application for a place my relative previously applied for. I had asked this relative to view the property for me because I worked out of the area. Well because they recognized this individual as being someone who applied with a program they assumed for some reason I wanted the place for him which was not true. I would never recommend this place. We rented from them for a little over a year to long. First off squatters were living there when I went to go look at the place. They said they would clean it before the move in. Wrong moved in to drug glass all over the floors... If you need any maintenance done, plan on waiting a long time. As well as them saying you never turned anything in. Umm ya I'm I have emails and pictures, I have sent you. Then there's the move out. As a former tenant of a home managed by Bankston, I would NOT recommend using this company even if it was the last one available. From beginning to end this company failed to provide a safe and livable environment for me and my family. For ex. the stove was outdated which caused the pilot light to go out frequently causing gas to leak into the home. The gas company advised me that it was on the line to be replaced. They would hardly reply to maintenance concerns unless we hounded them and then when we did- they would reply that the owner didn't want to maintain that service (such as servicing the air conditioner). Anytime we contacted the office they never seemed to want to deal with the tenants -especially Elizabeth, she never seemed to enjoy her job). Avoid this place. They are rude to potential tenants. The slightest blemish on your credit report on stuff that doesn't even pertain to rental history results in a denial. Go to Mill Creek or Total Property where they'll actually treat you like a human being. It's a miracle these guys even rent their units out.
