Services
Ken and Diane Wilson own several boutique wineries offering exceptional wines, beautiful scenery and friendly, informative Tasting Room staff. Come visit all our sister wineries located in Sonoma County's Alexander, Dry Creek, Russian River Valleys, Mendocino County, and Valley of the Moon. In 2002 Wilson Winery established the Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund CVWSF (Federal ID # 75-3187688).
Our single designated Cabernet Sauvignon express the specific characteristics and nuances of the distinct wine growing blocks of the Wilson vineyards. With an emphasis on hands-on cultivation practices, the vineyards produce intense low yields. This is accomplished in a variety of ways including trellising, conservative pruning and individualized canopy management.
Crazy Creek Vineyard is located in Alexander Valley, a region renowned for growing some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in Northern California. This vineyard lies east of the town of Geyserville on a knoll just above the valley floor, and is comprised of gravely loam soil. The low vigor Cabernet Sauvignon vines consistently produce fruit with rich flavors and depth of character that create the characteristic red wine this region is known for.
Preston Ranch was purchased by Ken Wilson in 1979. Our vineyard located in the northern Alexander Valley foothills bordering the Russian River is an exceptional site for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon and other red wine. Composed primarily of Pleasanton gravelly loam soils, with a southwestern exposure at approximately 350 feet, were planted in 2001.
Our vineyard perched at 2400 feet elevation on the western fringes of the Dry Creek Appellation is among the last Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the region to be harvested. Very warm days and cool nights, allows for the long hang time for the grapes, which in turn, gives us big concentration of varietal character.

Meh is basically where I am at with Delorimier sadly. While many others love this Wilson property, I've never been impressed with it...
I've visited a few times and sadly each time has been a let down. To forewarn, no issues with staff, pricing, or the property, really just the wine. The property is quite quaint and located in a beautiful area with ample room for COVID times. Again, staff has been very hospitable everytime I've been there, so no issues on that front. It starts to slide downhill on the wine. I am very familiar with the Wilson brands and what they bring the table

I really enjoyed this winery. The wine was good & they let you sample some really nice bottles of wine that I may not otherwise be able to taste. I liked the grounds a lot and the views were nice. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I found the staff to be less friendly than many of the other places we went

Always a fantastic time here even if it's just for a short trip like mine today. Got the Rockpile Syrah, absolutely fabulous. If you join this wine club you really join 6(ish?) and you won't regret it especially if you love reds like I do.
They also have breadsticks and water at the table to help cleanse your palette. An extra nice touch in addition to the beautiful surroundings of course.

We love this place and have been wine club members for several years now. They offer a great assortment of reds (Cab, Zin, Primitivo, etc.) as well as some nice Chards too. The cool part of being in the wine club here, is that we also get the benefits of membership at the other Wilson Family Wineries - Wilson, Soda Rock, Mazzocco, St. Anne's Pezzi King, Rockpile, etc. So we get the discounts, free tastings, specials and such at all of them. We travel there at least 4x per year and love the people, the atmosphere, and wine.

Updated review - we went back over the hot labor day weekend for a quick tasting with our 6 month old son. Once again a delightful experience! Millis was our wine hostess and she was knowledgeable, polite and charming. She is the resident historian there (having been there for 16 years) and introduced us to their bordeaux style blend (Mosiac). As you can see all of us were fans. Thanks again!

Tasted a few weeks ago once patio seating opened back up. We made a reservation in advance and enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the patio under the umbrellas to beat some of the heat.
Staff was friendly, wore a mask and didn't hover which was nice to allow us opportunity to relax and not feel pressured on time to sip and go.
We tried the tasting flight available as well as the rosè which was new and I had just seen it talked about on their Instagram account. Everything we tried was delicious, we each went home with some wine to enjoy and it was nice to feel some sense of normal for at least

This was our first winery to ever visit so before I chose to write a review, the husband and I decided to try a few to have something to compare it to. First, the scenery is beautiful and calming. While we didn't experience the inside, we sat outside which was tranquil and relaxing. Jim guided us through the tasting and he was very knowledgeable and a great host. I drink white wines and my husband drinks reds. I was surprised to find myself enjoying their Cabernets so much. They were truly tasty! I highly recommend anyone wanting an intimate, serene experience to come here. Take a seat outside

This is what "relaxed" used to feel like! Last week we stayed at the Mosaic Room at deLorimier Winery for my wife's birthday. What a treat! This large, clean and comfortable room is located right at the edge of the vineyards. The minute we arrived, we could feel our bodies and minds relax. There are magnificent views of the winery and the surrounding hills of the Alexander Valley in every direction. The staff was extremely welcoming, the room was immaculate and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Enjoy the terrycloth bathrobes hanging in the closet. There is a little kitchenette

What a hidden gem of a winery, extremely picturesque. I have driven by so many times, but never stopped in. They have tasty bold reds with great deals by the case. Not a pretentious winery, these folks know hospitality! The ladies are so nice and sweet, they will also recommend the best restaurants in town to pair their wines with.
Thanks to friends who are members of the Wilson Winery package, we get to enjoy the perks. Ms. Shayla should be the Duchess of Yelp here, perhaps she already is! I have yet to participate in the chili cook-off, maybe next year. I can't wait to come back

The outside is pretty cute, but the inside is lacking, cases of wine and prices all around seem kind of cheesy/not nice to look at. Wine was pretty good, nothing standout. Service was kind of bad, felt like they wanted to just get through to the next group, which may have made sense but they weren't busy. I didn't learn anything about the wine other than the name. They couldn't find one of the wines for a while and then ended the tasting early due to time. Then ended up charging us full price, when we didn't receive a full tasting, which was a let down.
On the way out, I find

This would be a beautiful spot to have a glass on the patio and enjoy the day. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and there is not a sour glass in the bunch. Two of the wine standouts for me were the Sauvignon Blanc and the Barrel Zinfandel. Both were vibrant, fruit forward and had a bit of a bite. The tasting is somewhat pricey, at $20 per person, but the pours were generous and we tried about 8 different wines. They also waive the fee with the purchase of two bottles. On certain days, food pairings are offered and this will be something I will venture out for on another wine excursion day.

I don't think we have never not stopped here when we come up for barrel tasting. It's a really great winery, great tasting room and has delicious wines. Part of the Wilson wineries which are outstanding, this is definitely a place to stop, taste their wines and maybe bring some home. Everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Big benefit of being a wine club member in the Wilson family of wineries is getting free tastings at 10 tasting rooms and discount there too! Just got a discount on a mixed case of wine. Relaxing atmosphere and plenty of space to roam around the tasting room and outdoor patio. Two of the most helpful tasting staff (thought they where sisters). Everyone has their own taste in wine, so I'll just say, I highly recommend you stop here and see for yourself.

What a beautiful winery! Why? Friendly service and very welcoming. I had the opportunity to visit them because they were participants of the Barrel Tasting Event with Wine Roads.
They had a welcoming dog named Newton that added a fun vibe!!!
With one of the reds, they paired it with a lovely in house freshly baked flatbread.
We had a lovely time. Their green area also had lawn games. The best part of coming here is the personality and customer service of the staff. Definitely worth visiting!
