Ms. Velahos envisions a health system where both the western trained allopathic physician and the traditional health practitioner work together to provide the best care for their patients. I had a fantastic experience with MaryEllen at the Center for Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine. My visit was my first experience with acupuncture. Though I was nervous and not sure what to expect, MaryEllen's extensive knowledge and professional attitude made me feel more than comfortable. I was especially pleased with how she described each step carefully and answered my questions about the procedures thoroughly.
