I was born and raised in Philadelphia, graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. and did my acupuncture and herbal medicine undergraduate training at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. The wonderful community of educators at both places continue to inspire me. My style of practice was also formed in great part by my internship at Blue Poppy Institute during my time in Colorado.
I provide TCM-style (Traditional Chinese Medicine) herbal prescriptions while incorporating TCM, five-element, Japanese and meridian based styles into my acupuncture style. I also incorporate five element theory in creating individualized wellness plans for my patients.

After listening to you describe your health concerns and goals and reviewing your intake form with you, I will ask questions to rule in or rule out certain "patterns" of disharmony that indicate the correct individual treatment. I will then do a diagnostic examination of your tongue. We will discuss my treatment recommendations and make a plan together.
Acupuncture has an incredible way of re-introducing the body to itself. Over the past 20 years I have seen acupuncture predictably improve patients' overall state of well being. Acupuncture is a modality that allows the body to do what it knows how to do, only more harmoniously and efficiently. Acupuncture is very effective at taking the stress off of the system, and by doing so it often gets results when other interventions have failed.

If you need someone to take care of you and you want to avoid prescriptions/drugs Elizabeth is your go-to! She takes care of me and all of my ailments. She is knowledgeable in both western and eastern (Chinese) medicine and leaves you feeling like you're in great hands, from her hospitable and professional demeanor to the cozy treatment tables and painless needling. Her treatments are comfortable, painless and relaxing as she is very gentle. I bring my whole family to her. She is also a supervisor in clinic and teaches herbs-- a rare gem!
