We are one of the largest antiques shops on New Hampshire's famous Antique Alley with two pink barns full of cool, old stuff. We are an old-fashioned, family-owned shop with inventory changing daily. Our web site will give you a little peek at current inventory but, since we're open 7 days a week all year round, we really hope to see you in person!
Services
We opened our shop in the spring of 1991 with Carla & John Penfield (Colleen's mom & stepdad). We started as a Saturday "barn sale" in the original attached barn (about 800 square feet on two floors). Since that time, we've expanded to become one of the largest antiques shops on New Hampshire's Antique Alley.
When we moved to Northwood to open Butler's, we also started our second business, Wingo's Wecords. Don has been a music collector since he was a kid. He says it all began when his Aunt Winnie bought him his first Beach Boys 45 (Surfin'Safari/409) when he was 11 years old.

His love for music led to his college radio show at Springfield College (1970s) to his management of "Sessions Music" in Portsmouth (1980s) to the launch of Wingo's Wecords (1990s).Wingo's began as wholesale vintage vinyl supplier. Don traveled the country buying Jazz & Soul LPs for large record stores in Europe and Japan.
Our advice is always "don't throw it away until you have us take a look!" The antiques business is always changing and people are often surprised by the value of their "old stuff." We buy everything from record collections & old work clothes to 19th century hair wreaths & civil war weapons. Most of our inventory comes from local homes.

Probably the most incredible single antiques collection I've encountered. The level of curation is remarkable, and they clearly have a passion for unique and eclectic objects. This is not your run of the mill antiques store, this is truly a special place. The prices were reasonable, and they were knowledgeable about what they had.

R.S. Butler’s Trading Company is filled with a huge variety of antique/ vintage furniture, clothing, China, crystal, linens, hardware, hats, jewelry - I could go on forever! This is also the home of Wingo’s Wecords; a haven for all things vinyl and music related. Even the outside of the store overflows with excellent antique garden or courtyard delights. Do NOT pass this by when next you’re traveling the Antique Alley through Northwood, NH!!

This place is sooo nice & the owners are very pleasant. It's organized and displayed amazingly with such attention to detail. It's obvious the owners take great pride in their business. There's so much to see in the 2 buildings as well as the outside lawn area. What a treat to see so many things that remind me of my childhood & my grandparents. It's a wonderful treasure trove of nostalgic furnishings and memorabilia. It's the best store, we think, on the antique alley / rt 4. It's a must stop & see.

Certainly one of the best "Antique Alley" stops.
My visit today was straight back to the huge vinyl collection. Truly fair pricing. Incredibly selection of $1.00 LP's.
Found 6 LP's to sit back and spin!

This was, hands down, the most facinating antique shop I have ever visited! You start in the yard decorated with bird baths and garden statues, move into a barn with a beautiful loft hung with incredible chandeliers and finish in the main building with retro furniture, antique wedding dresses and cowboy boots! There is so much to see. I will definitely be back soon

My sister bought a very unique bird bath here, we absolutely love it! True & authentic antiques, not a bunch of junk! The female owner is very nice & helpful, willing to negotiate with you. She has excellent taste in antiques, so much to see at her store, could look for days and still not see everything.

By far one of the best antique shops in New England.
Colleen and Don ( and Birdie!) are the real deal when it comes to a One-of-a-kind shop!
They have the Coolest collection of Pop Culture Items, Vintage Clothing, Furniture, Records, Primitives, Home Decor, Lawn Decor, Bits and Bobs and so much more!
Every time I visit they always have tons of great new inventory and are always there to help you find some of your grail items. I can't recommend them enough!!
