Both dedicated to the preservation, collection, restoration and enjoyment of antique and collectible radios, televisions, vintage electronics, and related hardware items (HiFi receivers, Ham, test equipment, electronic components, cabinets, speakers, etc.) as well as related printed matter ( magazines, user's manuals, advertising, textbooks, etc.) and radio/television broadcasting memorabilia.
Services
The basic unit of capacitance is the Farad, named after the Michael Faraday. Prior to the 1970's, capacitors were also called condensers. Same part, same function, different name. You'll still hear the old name used by some radio technicians. You will certainly see it in old schematics. However, through the years "uf" had many other acronyms.
A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. In electronic circuits, resistors are used to reduce current flow, adjust signal levels, to divide voltages, bias active elements, and terminate transmission lines, among other uses.
NEARC Swap meets are setup indoors (heated, A/C) with clean rest rooms, and a food service concession. Free On-site parking. Much of the New England Antique Radio Club activity focuses around the club swap meets. These events provide club members with an opportunity to gather together to buy, sell and trade radios, TVs, parts, tubes, books, magazines and, most importantly, the chance to meet and exchange ideas with other radio collectors.
INSIDE Space: You can only purchase 6 foot tables at this event. There may be exceptions or changes. Please contact us, or visit our information page if there are any special needs or concerns. You can also download and print the flyer for details about the show. All table spaces are one flate rate of $25 each.
