Services
The first time someone buys a sampler/motto, they usually have no intention of collecting, but they do become addictive. One person may buy as many verses with "cottages" as she can find, then another person might collect "Colonial ladies", and yet another, all "black and white.". There are so many different ways to arrange and display them.
In addition to our furniture and lighting we have many accessories for your home and even your workshop! Items include dishes, glassware, and pots; tablecloths, aprons, and vintage clothing; bookends, doorstops, paintings and prints, mirrors and rugs. Hundreds of frames, old tools, and outdoor gear like snowshoes.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fragility and unpredictable replacement value, we prefer not to ship ceramics. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may present. Peacock Items - one small round porcelain covered box with Peacock design on top, Van Briggle Lamp with Peacock tail flowing down lamp, and a hand embroidered table runner with embroidered Peacocks.
We have dozens of country or formal table dressings: crocheted, hand embroidered, or damask in linen, cotton, silk and velvet. You'll find rugs, paisley shawls, lace curtains, and beautifully crocheted bedspreads among many other items. Note: Be sure to measure your table before you come so we can find the right table covering for you.
Pewter and cast iron cookware (including Erie, Griswald, Wagner), brass & copper tea kettles, and cook pots, fireplace tools, cranes, fenders, screens, trivets and more. As long as there have been doors there have been doorstops. Early on they may have been a convenient rock or piece of furniture, but in the 19th and early 20th centuries, doorstops were manufactured as decorative items for the home.
