Our Emergency Department provides 24-hour treatment, seven days a week, for patients of all ages, and all types of acute medical and trauma conditions, including emergent trauma injuries. All Emergency Department physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine. The Utah Valley Hospital Emergency Department is located on the east side of the hospital, along 300 West, and is open 24 hours a day.
We are the only Level II Trauma Center south of Salt Lake County where all Emergency Department physicians are board certified in emergency medicine, and the nurses are trained in adult and pediatric trauma care. We're also the only Utah County Emergency Department with round-the-clock coverage of all major medical specialties including neurosurgical, orthopedic, plastic, and general surgery.
