Micheline graduated from Worcester State College with a Bachelor's in Biology and from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science with a Post Baccalaureate in Dental Hygiene. Micheline's #1 goal is to make everyone feel comfortable in the dental chair. Part of this is listening and understanding the patient and providing the most outstanding, compassionate care for every patient.
Dr. Polnar is a talented, dedicated, and caring dentist. Dr. Polnar discovered an early passion for helping people overcome disease and disability to enjoy better lives. She graduated with honors from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has been practicing dentistry in the greater-Boston area for several years.
The staff and Drs were friendly. I had gone there for the last couple of years, and recently they had to change some staff members and the primary doctor. I had to go there for my crown, a little bit nervous I decided to try, and Dr. Polnar is fantastic, very gentle, caring, and she will explain all the procedures and how things will be handle.

I’ve never thought of reviewing a dentist, but Dr Polnar and her staff really stand out! They are knowledgeable and make me feel comfortable when I am there. I was nervous about my first crown recently and they were accommodating, helpful, and put me at ease and really exceeded my expectations of dental care.

I was completely impressed with the care that was taken in my appointment today. They really care about my background history and about any concerns I had about my mouth. My first time back to a dentist in 2 years, and I’m so glad I decided to go to Elite Dental! Shannon was absolutely amazing and such a delight to chat with in between my cleaning. There was basically no waiting time after I filled out my new patient paperwork, which was another big plus. Overall, I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment! Hands down the best personal dental experience to date! I, like many, fear the dentist. However after 2 consecutive visits for a DEEP cleaning (because my fear kept me at bay for 8 years), I can say I will ensure I visit Elite Dental of Natick as prescribed! The staff are extremely friendly and really listen to the customer. I expressed my concerns and fear where they assured me the visit would be worry-free painless. I had 3 fillings done by Dr. Polnar. She is very thorough and takes great care of her patients. I also had a couple of dental emergencies and the staff at Elite Dental of Natick were able to accomodate me on the same day. Stay far far away!! First off I found out after going here they pulled the wrong tooth from a friend of mine. They were super rude to me and tried to pull an infected tooth. Wrote the script wrong for antibiotics. They owe me $300 and claim they refunded it which they never did. They are so crooked and scary here. He told me how awful the filling I had was and it broke cause it was done so terribly and I told dr datar that's funny cause your the one who filled it!!! This place needs to be shut down. This place has poor service and policies. I had an emergency and left a message to cancel my appointment the next day. They still charged me $100 because they don't accept voicemails after hours within advance notice.
Even after I called to explain the situation, the lady just said she'd talk to the dentist but never called me back. Just took my credit from the insurance company and sent me a bill for the difference.
If you want to nickel and dime your customers, then how can I trust you to be honest with the extra services you're saying I need.

BEWARE! My experience pretty much lined up with Mnason S. They quoted me a worst case scenario price of $500 for a chipped tooth if it ended up needed a root canal. Ended up just needed a capping and once my tooth was drilled off they quoted me to come back and pay nearly $1k for a capping. Rip off artist lady who need to be investigated by the BBB. It's funny they claim they have changed since al the negative reviews. Incredibly rude receptionist. You couldn't pay me to go back to this shady spot. You're better off going to a vet for stitches than these guys for a filling. BEWARE

I did not know that the dentist that saw me a few weeks back was a fill in and not a part of your staff. For that I apologize. However, today I was told that I was looked at as a 'drug seeker' because of all the previous dental work I had done?! That was extremely alarming to me that your receptionist had the balls to say that about me. This office is excellent. The entire staff are very professional and courteous. Doctor Datar is the best I've seen. I originally went to this office to get a second opinion because my other dentist told me I had to have a tooth pulled because it was broken and couldn't be saved. Doctor Datar saved my tooth, didn't have to get pulled, didn't have to get an implant. During the process not once did I have to go to a different office, all services were performed at his office. He now is my regular dentist.

Looking to up their rating as I believe there was a change in management, I have only been a patient for a year now so I believe many of the poor reviews were due to the previous admin team. After ignoring my dental care for several years, I chose Dr. Datar after speaking with him and his staff on the phone. They were kind in their care, and patient with all of my questions. When I arrived with severe tooth pain, they got me on the right path for cleaning the area, scheduling a deep dental cleaning, and then having my root canal. I also had a tooth extraction during this process.

One of the young dental hygienists was nice, but the overall services my family received were terrible. The doctor had no experience or patience with kids - my toddler was terrified with his dental visits and was yelled at for 'not cooperating' (how rude and unprofessional of Elite Dental!). They also told me I needed massive dental work, but when I got a second opinion, turned out my teeth were fine. Moreover, they fabricated an outstanding dental bill and demanded us to pay - a bill we were not responsible for (confirmed by my insurance). Absolutely unacceptable. I do not recommend

Elite Dental administrative staff especially the billing department gets an "F". The office billing official purposely ignores how their dental contracts agreement with insurances work. I express to the staff that I want to know up front what will be my cost after the insurance payout.
Most of the dental work that was done is covered by the insurance but Elite will send out fraudulent bills, though I was told in the office before leaving, your insurance has covered this work. Then weeks or month later I receive a threaten letter in the mail stating I have a balance is overdue for services

I was overcharged for crown work and badgered for payment. Threatened with collection agency and destruction of my credit rating. When I pushed them to work with my insurance company, it all got fixed and they cleared the charges.
