When you first enter our office, you will be greeted by Kim, Debbie or Dale. They will ask you to fill out all necessary paperwork to prepare for your appointment with us. They will also assist you with your insurance needs, payments, and scheduling additional appointments, if necessary. Please bring all necessary insurance information.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kern for over 20 years. She has done routine cleanings, x-rays, light restorative work for chipped teeth and made molds and maintained nighttime mouthguards for me. Dr. Kern takes incredible pride in her work, is motivated to employ the most useful and modern technology in her work, and will explain in detail why she is making the dental recommendations she offers for your situation. By the way, she is also always available by cell or text, which has come in handy more than a few times. I was so disappointed when she had to curtail all but emergency work during COVID

I never wrote a Google review for Audrey? Well here you go. She has been our family's dentist for over 30 years. Kids have gone, but I still visit her regularly. She is friendly, skilled, thorough, and her work lasts. I am always comfortable there and at the end of each appointment, I come out knowing I have cared for my teeth.

I recently switched dentist. Since my guy retired. Overall I've been happy at this new practice.
Pros -
About a mile from my house
Can get appointments as early as 7 am
It's a single dentist practice- 1 Dentist and 2 hygienists. Which means you always see the same people and they get to know your mouth
Dr Kern is extremely thorough and discusses multiple options with you. She helps you prioritize dental issues and the office is willing to work out a plan to maximize insurance coverage.
The office is up on all the latest dental technologies- for instance sealants on kids teeth

This dentist is great! She fixed a difficult problem that I had been living with for months. I went to her with dentures that didn't quite fit and a nasty speech problem that I had as a result. People couldn't understand me and the dentures hurt!--I even had trouble eating.
My book club noticed improvement in my speech immediately after I saw Dr Kern and now I can eat all sorts if food without a problem. I thank you Dr. Kern. You are the best!

Dr. Kearns is the ultimate professional who is dedicated to both her clients and staff. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her clients needs. Dr. Kearns is surrounded by highly qualified personnel who represent her practice well, as noted by the excellent customer service. I'm a qualified nurse anesthetist, who has been a client of Dr. Kerns for many years. I'm so impressed with how she informs her clients regarding each procedure in great detail. I'm always amazed with her gentle technique while administering local anesthetic. I highly recommend Dr. Kerns to family and friends

Dr. Kern is honestly the best dentist I've ever had. I moved from the Framingham area, but I travel from the Springfield area now just to continue seeing her.
She takes a very long time compared to other dentists, but her careful approach pays off. She is extremely thoughtful. She will explain all of the work she's doing.
Dr. Kern is also good with insurances. She helps me to understand my benefits so I can make the tough decisions we all have to face sometimes.
