Dr. Forest is a second-generation chiropractor. His father, Dale Forest graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1955. Three of the sons followed him into the profession. All three brothers also attended Palmer College. Dr. Steven Forest graduated in 1979 and worked with his brother in practice until 1984.
The doctor will then meet with you to discuss your health history and explain the chiropractic approach to restoring and maintaining your health. You will be given a series of tests. These tests include a thorough orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination. The orthopedic tests are designed to test the joints and to reproduce any pain you might have.

I have seen Dr Forest for 12 years. I would recommend him to anyone. I love his office because it is straight forward and low key and calm. There is not lots of glitz. I feel comfortable and safe. Dr Forest is methodical and practical. As long as I go see him once a month I am pain free. Bodies are like cars. They need to be tuned up on a regular basis. I have moved to another state and he referred me to a colleague here.

Definitely don’t recommend the practice and the operation. Not happy with the adjustments at all with the neck pain. Later when had to pay the bill, emailed (have proof) to settle balance and no one responded. Next I heard is they send it to collections and directly goes on the credit report. Pls do not go here.

3 years ago I suffered from severe nerve pain that caused 40% loss of feeling and 60% loss of strength and coordination to the left side of my body. Thank you for taking my appointment even though you were closing your office for the evening while I was in extreme pain with shoulder spasms. I really enjoyed visiting both your Alameda and Fremont office. You listened to my issues, very patient and extremely knowledgeable. I am thankful that I recovered and I owe that to your care. If you want good traditional care and not a Chiropractor that is trying to sell you a bundle package that you don't need, go to Dr. Forest.

I suffered from lower back and neck chronic pain for over 15 years and tried every treatment I could find including chiropractic, osteopathic, PT, injections, acupuncture, etc, then I discovered the Blair method. Best Chiropractor I've ever seen! I've visited many different doctors, none of which take the time to take x-rays and examine the body before adjusting. Dr. Forest takes his time and really puts the patient needs first. He's a miracle worker! You have to him out! I suffer from chronic migraines and many past injuries and he has improved my quality of life in a year!

I went to see Dr Forest because my neck had limited motion when looking to the right. I had no injury but used to 'crack' my neck. I'm in my lower forties and wanted that to regain motion and to be pain free.

It's taken me a few years to bother offering a review of Dr. Forest but finally decided I'd make the effort. I was excited to finally get some much needed help with my back and hips and other pain-areas I've had for years. I met Dr. Forest at an Alameda event in spring of 2013. He took posture pics. of me and emailed a few days laters with results and a request for consultation. Our meeting was cordial and professional up to a point.
