Sherrie's Dance Studio was established in 1980. Sherrie, herself, is a life-long resident of the Richmond / El Sobrante area and was trained by the locally famous Matilda Meyer Dance Studio of Richmond. Each of Sherrie's Dance Studio's teachers is an adult with a fabulous blend of years of teaching experience, talent, enthusiasm and love.
You'll find each teacher to be a talented, caring professional. Sherrie's Dance Studio's instructors take pride in offering a quality dance education through both recreational classes and competitive classes. Our main focus is to build self-esteem and confidence in our dancers, as well as to teach them the art of dance.

Services
NOTE: If you are a brand-new beginning teen or adult dancer that's interested in Tap, please let up know. We have an interest list and when we have 8 or more dancers on the list we will schedule a new class! Please give us a call (510) 223-3262 or email (info@sherriesdancestudio.com) so we can tell you more about our Intermediate and Advanced level classes.
Classes range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours in length depending on age, dance style, and level of difficulty. Your monthly tuition payment insures your placement in a chosen class. PLEASE NOTE: If a student misses class, we will not pro-rate the monthly tuition, we will only issue a credit or pro-rate the monthly tuition ONLY if WE cancel the class and are unable to offer a make-up lesson.
At Sherrie's Dance Studio, we feel very strongly that dance competition is only a part of what we do, but never the main focus. Our goals are not about the trophies our competitive teams may or may not win, but rather about how to learn and grow from the experience while exposing our dancers to others that may be stronger than they are, in an effort to motivate our dancers to be the best they can be.
