We rented out the Canopy&Roots for a wedding rehearsal and it was amazing! The vibe and decor are awesome and the staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our fairly large wedding party (50+ people) for the rehearsal. The coffee is fantastic too! This is a hidden gem in Dahlonega (no pun intended!) and we highly recommend it for a wedding rehearsal or private party or to simply catch a show or grab a cup of coffee!

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at the roots for my son and daughter in law. After the rehearsal dinner the whole group went upstairs and bought coffee.
This venue has the coolest vibe and Brandon and his wife were so helpful. She even helped us decorate and figure out seating. We had them bottle some of their coffee syrups as gifts for the bride and groom and wedding party. They were labeled M&T and their wedding date.
The night was literally perfect. Our family made some wonderful memories here with our son and his wife. Also, the coffee is amazing! We will visit every time we are in Dahlonega

Unexpected (& oh so happy). When I travel I seek local coffee shops as there is nothing like a well-made latte (I prefer an Oatmilk Mocha). This place was spot on with top tier coffee experiences. Cozy atmosphere, thoughtful and imaginative decorations, alongside friendly staff; bonus for plentiful indoor/outdoor seating. I am so so glad they were walkable in the downtown Dahlonega Square. P.S. I noted that they also had a yoga studio and music venue (The roots section below).

We booked the Roots for a private event and everything went flawlessly. The booking is simple and quick. The ambiance is amazing and it creates a perfect atmosphere for an intimate party. The owners make it so that you get there and everything is ready for you. I recommend this venue wholeheartedly.

Absolutely my favorite place in town!❤️
The atmosphere is very peaceful and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have all sorts of cool events and an incredible venue you have to check out!
The coffee is by far the best coffee I have had in my life serious... I’ve had coffee in Italy and Japan and it doesn’t touch this coffee. My favorite is an oat milk latte with orange and lavender. It isn’t too sweet, very aromatic and soooo tasty! I highly recommend that and the paleo muffin. They have options for all health concerns or diet needs.
They also just got a nitro tap and

Hi! I’m visiting from FL and I always look for cute coffee shops to check out whenever I’m somewhere new, THIS shop is by far one of my favorites! The owners are down to earth, and the coffee is amazing!! Lavender white chocolate latte is to die for!!! You definitely need to stop by if you’re in town! There’s also live music down stairs and everything they sell is all made local!! Cute aesthetic too!

I was surprised to discover a new coffee shop had opened up right under my nose when I wasn’t paying attention. This is comfortable, well-decorated place with great energy, attractive furnishings, and friendly staff. There is an adjacent yoga studio next to the upstairs coffee space and a music listening room in the basement. I even noticed that one of my favorite musicians has been booked to perform there this weekend- bonus!
The coffee is good and the snacks are tasty. The idea of opening a place like this must have been a good one, because there was already a great crowd of happy-looking

Great customer service and such a neat vibe! Love the decor style! They have some super soft shirts for sale with cute designs representing Dahlonega and also Canopy & The Roots. The Roots is an intimate, listening room with a speakeasy sort-of feel. I wish we could have stayed for the show tonight - Lauren Anderson from Nashville. I’m sure the entertainers love the swanky Green room! Brandon, thanks for your hospitality and you all keep rocking it! Hope to see you again soon! And I loved my old school London Fog!!
