Yoga is an ancient practice that dates back thousands of years. The basic definition of yoga is the union of the mind, body and spirit. Over the years, several different schools or styles of yoga have formed. At ToLife! the primary style of yoga that we teach is Hatha Yoga. Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age and physical condition, and although yoga is not a religion it does incorporate a spiritual aspect into its practice.

A Joseph Pilates grew up in Germany in the early 1900's. At a young age he took an interest in anatomy. He studied many forms of exercise, including yoga. He was a skilled boxer, gymnast, and circus performer, among other things. He began working with people who were ill or wounded from the war and developed apparatus for the bedridden patients by utilizing the springs from their beds.

What a beautiful space! I immediately feel relaxed and at home. The staff is warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They keep detailed notes for private lessons so that any instructor can meet you where you are in your progress and accommodate limitations or injuries. After only a few private lessons, I’m already feeling stronger, and I am enjoying a more positive body awareness that comes from the instructors’ help in focusing my mind on precise movements and postures.

My 8 year old daughter LOVES her kids yoga classes! She feels totally relaxed and pleasant when I pick her up after class. She makes a deep relaxing “ah~“ sound and says to me “I feel so good. It feels so relaxing.” She is definitely calmer and is absolutely full of positive energy after her class. She shows her yoga positions to me and my husband at home. Can’t thank Marilyn enough! ❤️❤️❤️

Keri is incredible at teaching pilates via zoom. I have never had the chance to see her face to face and I am sure I would be even happier. She remembers everyone's limitations, her speech is so clear and paced that it is a bliss to take pilates online. She is very focused on technic and making sure everyone is practicing pilates safely

I love the to attend the yoga classes at ToLife Yoga! You may say, ‘love’ is a strong word. However, that is exactly how much I appreciate the program! I always attend the group sessions. However, the instructor walks around the classroom to ensure you are doing each pose properly for your safety. The individual attention you receive, makes you feel like you are receiving a private lesson. For example, one of the gentle yoga Instructors, Marilyn is patient and works with each person individually to ensure you are getting a good workout with each session. Most of all, the price is affordable and

This was my first time back in a class in a VERY long time and my first true Pilates class every - Kari was enthusiastic, friendly, patient and welcoming. I got a great workout that made me push myself but not over do myself either. I can't wait to go back to this class and try even more!!!

I’ve been to some great yoga studios and for me this one stood out! The instructors take their time making sure everyone is doing positions correctly and make you feel good if you might be less flexible than others. The stretching after Pilates was so amazing!! She was very detailed in how to go into and out of each stretch to make sure you don’t hurt the next day or pull anything. I’m defiantly looking forward to more classes and trying out other class options. The studio is very pretty and clean and they’re doing so much to make sure everyone is safe during covid time.
