Established in 2009, Delta Land Services, LLC has a reputation as a leading environmental restoration, mitigation, and land management company serving private and public entities along the Gulf Coastal States. Located in Port Allen, LA, and founded under the leadership and direction of George Guerin, we are privately funded through a group of partners - allowing for flexibility and a dedicated focus on project execution and client deliverables.
Our company has more than doubled in size in just a few short years as a result of our understanding of restoration ecology and the regulations associated with the practice, our strong agency and client relations, and a focus on technology and industry development.

At Delta Land Services, we implement and sponsor mitigation bank and restoration sites throughout the southeastern United States. In doing so, we make the purchase of mitigation credits simple for our clients. A mitigation bank is a wetland area that has been restored, established, enhanced, and/or preserved and protected in perpetuity to compensate for future conversions of wetlands for development activities.
Permittee-Responsible Mitigation (PRM) is defined in 33 CFR 332 as "an aquatic resource restoration, establishment, enhancement and/or preservation activity undertaken by the permittee (or an authorized agent or contractor) to provide compensatory mitigation for which the permittee retains full responsibility."
Our team of Professional Wetland Scientists, Certified Foresters and Certified Wildlife Biologists have extensive experience restoring, enhancing, and preserving streams and wetland systems throughout the southeastern United States.
Once a mitigation site is approved by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, we make a long-term commitment to reestablish or rehabilitate the previously compromised wetland or other aquatic resource to return its natural or historic functions and characteristics. The ecosystem and restoration industry has seen rapid growth in recent years.

Locating suitable property for mitigation is one of the more time consuming, capital intensive, and challenging components of mitigation banking. While we prefer to own the properties ultimately used for mitigation, we understand landowner partnerships may sometimes be the better approach.
By partnering with existing landowners for certain projects, we can better establish properties customized to meet your specific needs for the type of habitat to be restored and in the right location to your impacts.Entering into a landowner partnership with Delta can be very beneficial to landowners.
