We have many types and species of wood products on site and can get just about anything but when it comes down to it we are all about cedar! Almost every day someone comments on how good it smells here and that we must never get tired of that smell. Cedar smells so good because of the natural oils and other chemicals present in the wood.

Have purchased from Mill Outlet Lumber for a number of years. No serve yourself here. You order at the office, hand your order to one of the passing forklift drivers and they bring it to you. Looking for fence boards that aren't wafer thin? This is your place. A bit far from home but they make the drive worthwhile.

Great if you know what you want and are ready to go. We built a fence in my backyard and thanks to my father in law had a rough idea of what we needed. These guys are efficient and have a huge selection of lumber that is super high quality. If you are serious about billing a fence or anything else with lumber, shop here. The quality is so much better than Home Depot or Lowe's and they are competitive in price. You won't regret shopping here for your project.

The bioflame blocks versus the Duraflame logs, I use a Duraflame logs to light which stays lit with great flame and very good heat for up to four hours. I add the Bioflame logs to keep the heat burning and not use so many Duraflame logs which are much more expensive.
I find that it may still be cheaper to burn the Duraflame logs which lasts upto four hours versus the bio flame logs which do not burn consistently, some blocks light well flame well others do not flame at all but still get hot and get some heat.

We but lumber there when ever we need more than a board or two. Their prices beat the big box stores by at least 20% on many types of lumber. They load it for you and if you need it will put a warning flag on lumber that sticks out the back of your truck. They are also willing to answer "wood related" questions and usually have good suggestions.

The guys who run the yard are awesome! They get things done. They’re quick af and helpful. The first time we came here we were a little confused how things work, but we figured it out (order from the office, then hand your receipt to the yard guys and they will pick and load your lumber for you). I hope they pay the yard guys well because they are great at their jobs.

Zero Stars (a big disappointment) --- Went to Mill Outlet knowing exactly what I wanted. Found the right stacks. Picked through the boards, rejecting about 1/3 & keeping around 2/3. Went to the office and paid. Loaded the kept boards onto my truck and was confronted by a yard man, "You can't pick and load your material. Only we can do that." I showed him my receipt, told him it was all paid for and that he could inspect the material to confirm that. "No, you can't pick your own boards and load them. That's our job. Either wait for a yard man to help you or return the boards for a refund." I replied

These people advertise a pallet of Tacoma Logs for $260.00 on the internet pictures and all. We make arrangements to have someone with a truck pick one up for us at 7am on a Saturday these people say ooh no sorry it's $360.00. I won't be wasting anymore money totally wasted out time trying to be scandalous.

This is a busy no frills place. The box store lumber yards offer a few more amenities but if you want great prices on lumber this IS the place to go. Think of it as a lumber yard to a dive restaurant with GREAT food! I was reading some of the customer feedback as I customarily do before going to or buying anything. I think the few people that posted not so great feedback must be the types that think the world revolves around them, or think their time is more important than everyone else's.

The first time I tried to make the 1 1/2 hour trip I had a tire blowout so I didn't make it before closing time. But after finally making my way there after a few days I'm so glad I didn't miss out on this gem of a lumber yard. Even though I showed up not having done my homework on exactly what I wanted, the staff helped me to figure out what boards were going to work for me. I feel like they didn't just sell me lumber i thought i wanted but instead helped me purchase the lumber I actually needed. Overall best experience I've had at a lumber yard. Thank you mill outlet

This place is Awesome~They have a web site, so I was able to make a list with prices for my project. When I got there I wanted to check the different grades of lumber available, that I had on my list, a worker gladly stopped to assist me...I went into the office paid for my pieces of lumber and within minutes some one was loading my truck, they have a no sorting policy, which is understandable, with the prices being so low...so buy good grades of lumber, you will get a wonderful surprise~great lumber~!!!
