Our mission is to serve those who have been "left behind" by Modern American Medicine. Most of our patients are searching for solutions to their problems that do not involve strong prescription drugs or surgery. We offer programs of personalized Designed Clinical Nutrition coupled with patient specific nutrient protocols (using herbs and whole foods) in order to improve health and general well being.
Services
To serve you better, please consider completing your patient forms first before your initial appointment. Your first appointment will last approximately 2 hours. Please come to the office well-hydrated. Bring any prescription medications with you. Also, if you have recent blood test results (last 6 months), please bring a copy with you.
The forms are found on the New Clients page. These forms will give us important information about you and your condition. The doctor will then spend some time asking specific questions about your condition and past history to determine if clinical nutrition is right for you. Step 2: After discussing your condition and past history, the doctor will give you a thorough nutritional examination.
The analysis is done by testing the body's own neurological reflexes and acupuncture points (without needles!). Neurological reflexes are derived from the nervous system which regulates the function of each organ. Acupuncture points are derived from Chinese acupuncture which is thousands of years old.
Bowen Therapy is a complementary hands-on bodywork approach to pain relief and healing. It was developed by Tom Bowen in Australia and has been steadily making its way across the globe. A Bowen session may last from 30 to 50 minutes. The Bowen therapist uses gentle but precise rolling movements over muscles.
Auriculotherapy is often compared to ear acupuncture but does not use needles. Instead, a gentle micro current stimulator is used to contact reflex points on the outside of the ear. These reflex points stimulate small but efficient nerves that conduct the impulse message to the brain. The brain receives the message and "decodes" it, determining what area of the body needs further attention.
