Recently, the CDC announced that fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask, including indoors. Verge will be following this guidance and allowing those that are fully vaccinated to practice without a mask. We trust that our community will follow the appropriate guidelines, and continue to wear a mask if it is recommended, or if personally preferred.

There have been changes at Verge and I feel that it reflects in the classes. Sadly, I spend less time there. The rooms are too warm for my liking and I am simply not a fan of the warmer classes. I like the Prime classes, and these classes are not offered. I was sad that my favorite teacher has left.

To start, I just downloaded the Yelp app because I feel so compelled to write about the awesomeness that is Verge Yoga.
I live just outside Center City Philadelphia, however I commute 2 - 3 times a week to Verge because the teachers and the atmosphere are outstanding. I feel like in many yoga centers I've visited in the city you are made to move so quickly that you easily lose your breath or your sense of presence. At Verge I feel connected to myself and my breath. Practice here is a true invitation to the present. It helps greatly that the teachers are grounded and approachable.

First of all, this studio is wonderful. The teachers care a lot about every student, and are always present to the energy in the class. The warm rooms are very enjoyable class, allowing for a sweaty invigorating practice. Plus, Verge is spotlessly clean. Always.
The reason I gave Verge 2 stars could totally be a personal issue; although there are a few different classes offered (Flow, Stationary, Sculpt, AeroSling) the yoga classes offer little variety; after a few classes, you learn the sequence and there is limited room for growth. For example, if you want to work on float-back to chaturanga

I live in Phoenixville and the Verge studio there closed which was very disappointing to me. However, I am able to get to the Wayne studio and love it. The staff is friendly, the teachers and helpful and the classes are exactly how they are described.
I've been practicing yoga for over ten years and have attended many studios, including those in NYC. Verge can compete with the best city studio and I look forward to every class I attend there.

I've been practicing vinyasa style yoga for about 7 years, teaching for 4. I had initially thought this studio was a Bikram studio...thankfully it is not. They may do some Bikram-esque classes, but the big difference is that the studio encourages you to listen to your body and honor your limits. I love the studio, the 2 instructors I have had so far, were great. I recommend it!

Verge is a friendly and unpretentious yoga studio located on Lancaster Ave (Route 30) in Wayne. Their teachers are very helpful and kind, they know when to push you deeper into poses and correct your mistakes. If you come often the teachers really get to know you and your strengths/weaknesses. Prices are reasonable, especially if you are a student. Studio is clean and has cubbies to store your stuff in (coats and shoes) during class. Students range from the super intense to absolute beginners. I started practicing yoga here in their brand new beginners series and continue to visit the studio
