Thank you for your interest in joining our team. South Central Family Center is a creative, forward-looking, nonprofit organization. We have a total of eight health centers, operating as Federally Qualified Health Centers, dedicated to serving low-income families in the South Los Angeles & Southeast Los Angeles County.
South Central Family Health Center, (SCFHC) is committed to providing comprehensive access to health care for all people, regardless of their documentation status or ability to pay. Policy changes, such as the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), made it possible for SCFHC to expand access to citizens that lacked medical insurance coverage.
SCFHC is an independent facility managed by a community Board of Directors. This independence means that our community, makes the decisions regarding the services we offer. SCFHC is governed by an 11 member Board, made up of professionals and leaders in the healthcare community. Over half of our Board are patients of our clinic, allowing them recommendations from a patient's perspective.
SCFHC was recently recognized by the Health Resources and Services Administration as a Health Center Quality Leader. We were in the top 30% of health centers nationwide for best overall clinical outcomes, demonstrating high-quality across clinical operations. SCFHC was recently recognized for our transparency with a Gold Seal on our GuideStar Nonprofit Profile!
SCFHC provides high quality primary care for everyone in the South Central community regardless of their ability to pay. Our dedicated medical providers care for all your medical needs, write prescriptions, help with medication management and provide referrals and follow up for specialty care like dermatology and cardiology.
