When you ignore ongoing issues, septic systems may eventually require repairs or replacement. We recommend cleaning your septic tank every five years at minimum to ensure that the tank continues to properly and freely drain.
Answer: We recommend at least every 5 years, and in most counties this is a county ordinance. Answer: Over time, if not pumped regularly, the solids build up in the tank and can pass by the main tee and clog your drain field resulting in costly repairs. Answer: As long as you are not having any problems the answer is no, you do not need to be home.

I am ever so thankful that I was referred to C&W Septic. From the first call to the completion of the work the entire experience was 100% professional.
The office staff, (Susan) was so kind, patience and educational.
The gentlemen, (Ben) who came out to do the work did a great job. He took the time to speak with me and to explain everything that was done. He was very efficient, professional and left the property just the way he found it.

The technician who came out was absolutely amazing! He was on his way within an hour of me making the call that I needed my septic tank pumped after waking up to a basement bathroom that flooded in the middle of the night as a result of a clogged septic tank. He was very friendly and patient with all the questions I had about the system. I would definitely recommend C&W if you need servicing for your septic system!
