Here at Nautilus Family Fitness Center we only have one goal, to help you change your life and become a better version of yourself! For most people, Nautilus becomes more than a gym, it becomes a lifestyle! I have been going to this gym for a looooong time (17 years!).and the last 10 years on a very consistent almost daily basis.
I go here that much mainly because of the friendly-family atmosphere. Yes-it has great equipment and machines- but the employees and the members are what sets it apart. Everyone is very nice and makes you feel welcomed. Silver Sneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events.

The gym is fairly nice and could be a great gym, but the owner (Scott Soule) is a disrespectful individual. He not only belittles his members, but he also talks down to his staff as well. I would not recommend this gym to anyone due to Scott’s shadiness, there are plenty of other gyms in
Asheboro that will fulfill your fitness desires.

It was a great gym for the years I was there, but once I decided to move to another gym, I tried to cancel and keep in mind my contract had ended. I was told I was locked into another contract for another year and had to pay $200+ to cancel or have proof to show I was moving. Staff is not professional and have very poor communication skills. They will squeeze you for every dime you have. Would not recommend to anyone, by far the worse experience I have had with a gyms staff.

I have always struggled with going to the gym mainly because I didn't like being the new person working out and surrounded by all the really "fit" people. Nautilus is the first gym I went to and felt comfortable. Everyone there is there to achieve the same goal and there are always super helpful people who don't mind giving you a little guidance if you need it. It's very affordable and has childcare available in the morning and afternoons. I love this gym and recommend it to everyone!

I was a member at Nautilus for over a year until the pandemic hit, and gyms were forced to shut down. After the initial two months, Scott decided to open his business against state regulations, and attempted to charge my account for four consecutive months during the time he was legally supposed to be closed. Fortunately, I had a fraud alert through my bank account around the same time, so the charges were blocked and I was sent a new debit card. I received two phone calls from staff members about the initial missed payments, and explained both times that I did not plan on coming in until gyms

This place has the best customer service! I’m working remotely in the area over the next year and wanted to find a gym that I was comfortable working out in during the pandemic. I called around to a few places in Asheboro, but the customer service was less than stellar (borderline rude and definitely uninterested in securing new members). When I called Nautilus, I was really impressed with Angie; she was very nice and extremely accommodating. I went that day and joined on the spot with my mom. Love this gym! Staff is very friendly and welcoming! I know entering a new gym is always scary and uncomfortable but the staff here makes you fit right in. Plus the nursery attendants are awesome with the kids and my kids love being there! It’s an awesome place to start your fitness journey so definitely come try it out! 😊
