As the youngest and the only girl in the family, Mary grew up in the insurance business and was taught the importance of community service at an early age. Mary takes advantage of all volunteer opportunities including serving on several education committees, the local, state and national Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Programs, the Oregon Community Foundation, and the Alumni Board of Oregon State University.

In 1957 our father, Ralph Bauer started in the insurance business so that he could become his own boss, leaving behind a stable job as a bread truck driver with Master Bread Company. He opened up Ralph Bauer Insurance in 1957, a Farmers Insurance Group agency, in his own home. In 1972 his son, Dick, joined him and in 1977 his son Tom went to work as a producer for Farmers Insurance group and the agency became Ralph Bauer & Sons Insurance.

Stopped my this office to get an insurance quote and the office was inexplicably closed with out out explanation, though the hours posted indicated they would be open. I then telephoned -no answer. Left a message -no call back. Poor way to conduct business -Good way to get a bad review and to help others not waste their time.

This company needs to be put out of business. They have been overcharging me about 200$ per month and they didnt even have the right vin # on my car. They had to refund me money a couple months ago for sending in our claim with tickets that didnt even exist. Now I find out they dont even have the right vin #. IM TAKING ACTION TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. DONT GO HERE FOR INSURANCE. THEY ATE DISHONEST AND WILL RIP YOU OFF.

1/3/19 I contacted them today regarding a quote for business insurance and the gentleman I spoke with was upfront and honest, He avoided dragging me down the long rabbit hole of questions etc etc.
