I called for reservations and after a great deal of figuring I was told 127$ night for single person and I would need to pay cash. Not credit card to reserve roo,?

You get what you pay for. It’s an affordable roof and bed just down the road from Okemo.
Easy check in, and nice hot shower with good water pressure. Room was a bit chilly, but it’s Vermont; wear layers.
It’s not the nicest place ever, but it’s the perfect spot for a weekend trip with the boys.

Value for money is the key thing here. Very close to the mountain and in the heart of town. Has all the standard amenities. Clean sheets and towels but the room is certainly dated and needs attention.

Amazing place to stay close to so many wonderful mountains in Vermont to ski at! The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms had plenty of space to store snowboarding/skiing gear, and the owners of the property were very hospitable and took great care of us throughout our stay, highly recommend and excited to come back for a future visit!

Visited mid-Jan. Highlights of our experience were comfortable beds, plenty of space to dry and store gear, hot water/high pressure showers, and a very attentive customer service core.
The large parking areas accommodated many vehicles over a busy weekend with no issues. Additionally, the property was consistently plowed/shoveled & generously treated day and night.
Ludlow is central between many seasonal Vermont attractions & I prefer the Ludlow Colonial Motel to many options in nearby Rutland. Special thank you to Rena & Nick for the special care during our stay. Will 100% be back many times

Most things worked well. Spacious. Pretty clean. Was able to book a second night at the last minute so that was helpful. Wifi in one of the rooms basically didn’t work though. Great location

Room was nice and big and super clean. The host was super nice and accommodating. Location was super convenient to the ski lodge nearby! I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family!!!!

Great room for the price close to the mountain. Rooms are huge and friendly staff. The room has everything you would need for a couple of nights. Microwave, fridge and places to hang your wet snowboard clothes. I’ve stayed here before and it has now become a place to stay when I come to okemo. Give it a try

Disclaimer: I did not stay at the Motel.
I visited the Motel to help a coworker fix their laptop. I was there a few hours. The service I was greeted with was wonderful. Very kind and respectful people. Very comfortable furnishings.
