Had a flat and realized I needed 4 new tires for an AWD car the day before leaving on a family trip. I needed four new tires. I wanted all terrain. After calling four places I gave Robert a call. He was extremely professional and efficient. My tires were installed the next day within 4 hours at a much lower cost of all other dealers. For exceptional service, this is a no brainer. Can I rate them at 10?

I had the alignment service there. They provided a price quote when I made the appointment. When I picked up my car upon service completion, they also furnished a report showing specific metrics based on their final test. I really appreciated the transparency throughout the process.
Finally, they gave me a courtesy call when my car was about to be ready, so that I didn't have to waste any unnecessary time waiting.
This will be my go-to place for car services going forward.

Recently had my Subaru Crosstrek alignment done here as well as fix an issue with tire lug nuts. If you are looking for honest and well priced shop that delivers on service and is straight forward with you then this is a great place to have work done. The shop is clean and the work is done right.
I called around to a few different tire shops to get different pricing and out of the 3 shops I called this one seemed to offer the best price. If I have any future tire needs I will come back again.

Robert's is my all-time go-to tire place.
This time, I went in because I had of a bit of wobble and friends suggested to get my tire balanced and to get an alignment. I did both and Robert's also rotated my tires.
I'm writing this after about two weeks of driving it around, as far down as the Central Coast and they totally fixed it.
These guys know what they're doing, the consummate pros and I am confident of their trustworthiness and honesty.

How wrong I was! I expected a long wait, multiple repairs and services left and right, hidden charges popping up by the minute … Nope! This guy is solid. I recently came to Roberts Tires to replace a couple rear rims. It turned out the OEM wheels were out of production and really hard to get, but Robert managed to find some matching replacements. There were a couple snags getting the right parts, he kept at it until he could find two matching OEM parts -- as promised.
It took a while to sort this out, but Robert was true to his word and managed to procure the right parts. Most places wouldn't have gone the extra mile to get the right part and make things right. Robert is a man of his word, and has earned my business

I planned to purchase from Costco, but Robert's was able to have tires the next day at the same price vs. 5 - 10 at Costco. Friendly service, and when I had to go home to find my lug nut key they were still able to get me out the door within a few hours. They also made sure that I had paperwork to claim an unanticipated rebate from Michelin.

I ordered two new front tires for my luxury sedan. Confirmed it with the manager via phone and also on the receipt. Brought my car in to have serviced. Came back after two hour only to learn they've ordered the wrong tires and replaced the back tires instead of the fronts.
The manager tried to say it was a miscommunication. But, after pressing, he finally apologized.
Now, it will take a few more days for them to order the right tires, then schedule a time to bring my car in for service.
Hopefully, they will get it right this time... especially after they've taken my money.

I called around 9am on a Monday about a flat tire. They told me they weren't busy so I could just come on by. I ended up bringing in the car around 11:30am. They found the nail and patches the car. He had quoted me $50-80 and ended up charging me $60. Quick, professional. No non-sense. Convenient location in the city. I'll be back for future issues and def recommend to family and friends.

These guys are great. I bought my set of BFG K02s here almost two years ago and they were quick with excellent service.
Two weeks ago i found a razorblade in one of my tires. I took it to a shop near my house (also amazing reviews on Yelp) who told me the tire could not be patched and it would cost me $350 to replace the tire.
I called Robert's shop who recommended I bring it by just in case the tire could be patched. Two hours later I had a patched tire remounted at $0 cost because I oringinally purchased my tires here.
These guys have a customer for life in me and I'd highly recommend

Found out I had a flat tire when I got in my car and drove down maybe half a block and noticed my tire pressure sign on...... Couldn't find out where the nail was or if there was a nail in there so called up Robert to see if he could take me in that very same day and he said he could.
My boyfriend helped me take out the flat and put on my spare. When we took out the flat, I found the culprit! There was indeed a nail in there, I was hoping it was patchable but when I brought it to Robert, he said it wasn't. Beware driving down battery st or just anywhere in San Francisco near construction

I had bought some classic rims off Craigslist and brought them to Robert's to find out it they needed to be repaired. Turns out one did and they fixed it quickly / perfectly.
One of my Prodrive wheels was missing a center-cap and they offered to check their own collection of center-caps to see if they had a replacement.
Genuinely the best service I've had at a tire / wheel shop. What nice people, thank you!

I went to Robert's to install new Pirelli tires on my vintage car. I called to order the tires I wanted, but he couldn't get them, so I ordered online and brought them to mount at Robert's. The shop damaged one of the tires in mounting and unfortunately refused to take responsibility. The tire was overinflated when fit to the wheel and burst through the metal band and the entire side - quite unsafe, glad it broke at the shop before mounting on the car, could have been quite a disaster. Neither Robert's nor the manufacturer would take responsibility, I had to pay for a replacement

I visited Robert's Tire and Wheels (986 Harrison Street) for the the first time today and it was a very pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I spoke to the owner of the business, Robert, who was very friendly and easy to work with. Robert has been in business in the Bay Area since 1979.
