Let's go in order. They made my family of five sit in a tiny booth, with barely enough room to put the food we ordered on the table. (Was expressly told NOT to go in the back room which has a sign that said restricted to parties of 5 or more... even asked about the sign and was still told no) Scrunched up and on top of each other the entire time. Bumping elbows as we attempted to eat the food.
The food:
Coffee tasted like water from an ash tray. Couldn't drink it. Ordered over medium eggs and they were so runny that cutting one egg soaked my entire plate in yolk. I actually don't mind over easy

We have always been treated wonderfully here. With an adult child with Autism and a host of other mental issues, it's sometimes difficult to find a restaurant that doesn't have an issue with disabled adults… who, has a mental age of 4. The waitstaff genuinely care about Travis, and know him by name. This place is one of my baby's favorite places!

I’ve been to Busy Bee multiple times. The food is consistent, the staff is generally nice. It’s like going to a small Texas town with the feel, menu, and Fox News always streaming. Sometimes you just want a good chicken friend steak and this is the place! There are better breakfast places in town but again, depends on what you are looking for. It’s a typical dinner fair and they do it well. Food comes out quick. Aside from Sunday mornings after church, not to busy. My toddler loves the burger. Get the pie!

I ate breakfast here a few weeks ago. The food was good, but the service was terrible. There was only one other party in the restaurant. Two employees greeted me when I came in, and told me to sit wherever I would like. So I sat down at a table, and the two employees just stayed where they were and visited with each other for about 5 minutes before one of them finally brought me a menu. That's downright insulting. What were they waiting for?

I was thrilled with the price and the food was pretty good. Chicken Fried Chicken and gravy were true southern flavor and awesome. The green beans were good as well. The fried mushrooms, not so much. I never got the ranch dressing they offered when I ordered and my tea ran out half way through my meal and they didn't offer to get more until I was on my last bite. Maybe they were busy doing stuff like inventory because the inside was not that busy. They all acted exhausted so maybe I caught them after a big rush. IDK. The food was was awesome though so they're still worth a try. I will say I like

Over priced and terrible food. Ordered a burger, very basic. The burger itself is not seasoned. It's kinda sad when bbq sauce has to save the taste. Bacon wasnt cooked all the way, chewy. Even order my burger plain, only meat bacon and cheese and they couldn't even get that right. Also the waitress never refilled my drink, I know thats a petty response but after sitting there for 25 minutes, I should at least get a refill for spending $2.49. Seasoned fries are okay. $10 burger had the same quality as a $1 burger at McDonald's, should have saved some money.

This place is not super fancy inside but it was clean clean and the food was very good. I'm not usually in this area but it was a good stop.
Our server was super nice and took great care of us.
I got scrambled egg covered biscuit with sausage gravy. Another person in our group had a waffle that she said was delicious and one had a chicken fried steak that looked VERY good. Every bite was gone!
Very good and the prices were great.

The food is great, waitstaff has been a tad forgetful about refills and providing simple requests. Each time we have been there we have had to request and remind waitress about different things, menu items, side dishes not delivered, while I'd heard their bigger than your head cinnamon rolls are delicious it takes forever to get one to go. Why? Who knows. But we prefer their pies while not spectacular are better than the underwhelming cinnamon rolls!
BUT, like I said the food is delicious! Their chicken fried steak is awesome!
Haven't had a burger yet but hubbys looked delicious!

Our breakfasts were very good, in fact the best scrambled eggs I've eaten in a long time. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. I haven't eaten lunch or supper here so I can't comment on those. Our server was very accommodating and friendly. The only complaint I have is the restaurant itself, it just doesn't seem clean and could use some TLC. Tables, booths, walls are all dark and worn, bathroom is awful. Very depressing atmosphere.

My first time here. We had the fried shrimp and the chicken fried chicken.
We started off with yeast biscuits and cornbread. The yeast biscuits were hot and excellent, the cornbread was grainy and fell apart.
The shrimp had been previously frozen and was a little shrimpy in taste. The chicken fried chicken was of a good portion cooked well and had very good flavor. French fries were frozen and were OK. We also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese. It looked a bit overcooked, but tasted fine.
Two dinners two drinks was $24.42. We will probably come back and try breakfast, but I don't know

We love Busy Bee! Today we ate lunch at the Alvin location and really enjoyed our meal. We had the meatloaf lunch special which was DELICIOUS along with the corn casserole which is unique and Super Yummy! Their portions were generous - enough for 2 of us! Service was great & the prices are very reasonable. This is a Hidden Gem in both Alvin and Pearland locations...we've eaten at both and have never been disappointed!

Service was fair, food was great though. I had the fish sandwich, and it was so huge. I regret not taking a picture but I highly recommend it along with the seasoned fries.
My father in-law says the the fried mushrooms and the omelets wonderful as well. You've gotta give this place a try if you haven't already.

Basically I'm rating the batter fried chicken livers. I love fried chicken livers and the Busy Bee is the only place in Alvin//Clear Lake area you can get good ones. I've only eaten at this location this one time. The local chain has been in the area since the '30s. It has lost attendance in recent years and three of their locations have closed including one in Texas City, one in Seabrook (it's now a Hooters). I used to go to the one Seabrook regularly for the chicken livers. I don't think they treat their employees very well. At the one in Seabrook the turnover was
