The food is good when it's right. I've been twice in a row now that they've completely messed my order up. The first time I was told AFTER they brought the food out and I got a quarter of the dish that well, it's because they're running out of food. Why did they not say something beforehand? Today they brought the wrong food out. I sent it back after apologizing for the inconvenience. Waited 40 minutes while everyone else ate. Waitress never came and refilled our drinks the entire time. Finally got my food after everyone else was done and it still wasn't right. The

Good choice of breakfast options. Staff were extremely friendly. Had the Hey Lucy Omlett and the wife went with the spinach scramble. Both were good, eggs were a little over cooked. The one thing I did not like, ice cold butter. Who does this? How does one effectively spread a frozen chunk of butter on an English muffin or drop the temperature of hot grits.

I am giving the restaurant 4 starz because i have never eaten here. However, I did deliver from here and the staff is super polite and helpful even with all of the business they receive. There is almost always a wait so that should tell you something. It has a nice warm environment and with any luck they can open a second locatio. Or maybe expand the exisiting one.

Sometimes good other times not so much Depends on which server you get and who is cooking. Sometimes very long waits even after you are seated. Strawberry mimosa makes it all ok.

Wonderful experience. Food was delicious, expansive menu. Big portions and my Gingerbread waffle was delicious. Husband’s Hash Brown Benedict was hardy and tasty. Bloody Mary was delightful and my Irish Coffee warmed me up on a rainy Christmas Eve morning. Bartender was warm and welcoming and paid good attention to us.Manager met us at the door and was very friendly. Will definitely make this place a habit!

Amazing food!! The eggs Benedict on hash browns were fabulous. They have several kinds of hollandaise sauces that are a must try. The Napoleon plate on their seasonal menu with the rum sauce might just be my favorite!

What happened?!? I've been to many broken egg locations and this was by far the worst breakfast experience I've had in a long while. The eggs tasted like cleaning agent. The potatoes were soggy and saturated in oil and the coffee was watered down. There were rolled up carpets next to the bathroom that smelled of alcohol and possibly vomit. Lastly there were unruly patrons being loud, shouting profanities and were obviously getting drunk.... declaring to everyone that they were on vacation. I know that last one is not the restaurants fault but the manager should have cut them off and asked

This restaurant has awesome staff members that are excited you came to their restaurant! They have smiles on their faces and remembered our names. They made us feel welcome and right at home. The food and the hospitality reminded us of what we miss most from the South! We will be making many trips here in the near future. There is a lot on the menu that we can’t wait to experience!

Place was amazing. My only complaint was it seemed like they were understaffed and people
Who arrived after us were seated before us. The food was hands down delicious. Pretty large portions. We wound up sitting at the bar and Brittany was super nice.

This is my second ABE experience and it was a very nice experience at this particular GA spot...this is a black owned business and we had the good fortune of speaking to the owners one particular Sunday morning. Everyone's food was good and we enjoyed our visit to this ABE Cafe.

Good varied menu. Mimosas and bloody Mary's are available.
My wife had the vegetable omelette and I had the cinnamon French toast with eggs and bacon.
Sideria is the best server there.

Happy Hips!

Another happy culinary experience. This meal was amazing. I've been to the Charlotte location a few times, but first time at the Savannah GA location. They did not have the Lobster Benedict so I went with the Lobster Omelet w/brie and champagne butter. Lawd haa Mussy! That champagne butter added such a distinct flavor to this dish. I had to ask what's difference in the grits and the City Grits. It is smoked gouda, chopped bacon and scallion. I was sold at smoked gouda. I also need to add that the biscuits here are like heavenly pillows.

I love breakfast and this was a Great breakfast spot! Both did locals and travelers. Definitely would come back again.

We ordered :
-a traditional breakfast starter with scrambled eggs, fresh country breakfast potatoes,& maple apple chicken sausage
-mixed fruit cup. (Came with blackberries, mangos and watermelon and strawberries)
-1/2 beignets biscuits
- skinny omelette

We loved the taste of everything we had and the seasoning was perfect. The mixed fruit was perfect for our warm sunny day, making the fruit nice and refreshing. And The beignets were "awesome "(both with or without

Coming back after a long time, it's still such a great place. Everything tastes wonderful and the service is good.

One minor criticism: 1) my lobster and grits is a bit too watery; the grits could have been slightly thicker. 2) the garlic bread coming with the lobster and grits didn't come at the same time with my grits. It came 10 minutes later, which is a bit annoying.

Since before we relocated to the area, we'd found this restaurant. Now that we live here we can return again and again, and we certainly do!

Fresh everything and perfectly prepared entrees. They really have poached eggs down pat. Precisely cooked to order, and promptly served. Delicious in every way.

I like the bananas Foster pancakes as a special treat.

Speaking of special treats, the bartender (Jaquie) is not only exceedingly professional, knowledgeable about all menu items, but also a real joy to speak with and be served by. A real joy!

All in all a great way to kick off your
