Dr. Shoukas is a board certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery practicing at Lake Mary Plastic Surgery. He began his scholastic career at Boston College, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
He then studied medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville.Following his residency, Dr. Shoukas went on to complete a comprehensive two-year Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois.

Went in for melanoma on the neck that required surgery. Dr Shoukas explained the whole procedure during my visit. The day of surgery he came in before heading into the operating room and went over everything once again. After the surgery he explained to my wife what he had done. Never needed to take any pain medication after the surgery. His office staff is one of the finest you will ever come across. I would highly recommend Dr Shoukas.

Dr. Shoukas Is an incredible plastic surgeon. He was very compassionate with it being my first surgery and everything was such a breeze. I love his office staff as well. They are ALL so caring and happy to be there. I am 100% satisfied with my results (breast augmentation). If you’re thinking about it, do it! 10/10 recommend to anyone who is looking at getting any plastic surgery done!

Dr. Shoukas performed my tummy tuck and breast augmentation 3 months ago and I am so happy with my results! My stomach is very flat and I have a low scar. My breasts are perfect for my frame and the exact look I told Dr. Shoukas I wanted.

About month ago, my dermatology group diagnosed a melanoma on my back. They recommended Lake Mary Plastic Surgery - Dr James Shoukas.
I'm very happy they did. The whole staff was very professional and informative. My out-patient surgery and after care went flawlessly.

I went to Dr. Shoukas to repair my ear after having some pre-skin cancer removed. Dr. Shoukas did an OUTSTANDING job and you can’t even tell I had a surgery! He also removed a mole on the side of my head without leaving a huge scar.
If anyone needs any cosmetic procedure done, look no further. The office, staff and Dr. Shoukas himself are the best in the business!

I recently had eye lid surgery, blepharoplasty, performed by Dr. Shoukas from the Lake Mary Plastic Surgery Center. Since this was my first time having plastic surgery and it was to be on my face, I was very nervous about the procedure, however, as it turned out, I was in very good hands. From the reception on, I was treated well, everyone was super friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I was made to feel totally at ease. Dr. Shoukas did an outstanding job on my lids. I now feel as though I look more vibrant and alive. I will always go back to him if I should ever require any more
