We have lived at Laurel Canyon for 3.5 years now and we didn't think apartment living could be this good! We have lived in two different units here (one townhouse style and one carriage style over garages) and it's been great! The apartments themselves are in need of an update which they have started but the staff here is top notch. If I call the leasing office with an issue, there is no delay. They always make me feel heard and important. Nicole, Cynthia, and Danielle are great managers who do as they say. Krashell in the office is also great! The maintenance staff, Douglas and Kevin, are so kind

Stayed away from this place. On the phone they sound nice and helpful but in reality they rude and very unprofessional. Cintia was very unprofessional my husband and I apply for a 2 bed since we already residents of ladera ranch we wanted to stay in the area. My husband got approved than after he gave a deposit and minutes later they told us he was denied base on my credit score IM A HOME MOM MY HUSBAND IS OUR MAIN PROVIDER HE HAS A GREAT JOB WELL PAID NOT TO MENTION WE HAD AN EXCELLENT RENTAL HISTORY...... Cinthia was very rude and unprofessional. They discriminate people there... Stay away

Nicole from the leasing office confirmed that an upstairs one bedroom unit advertised on Craigslist was available to view so, I scheduled an appt. The following day, I traveled an hour and a half to see the unit. When I arrived, I was told there were no 1 bedrooms available. Instead, they tried to push a 2 bedroom onto me. Incredibly unprofessional.

When you want to make lease with them, they are very nice , but if you want move out even after couple months they collect all your deposit with no strong reason, at top of your deposit they will charge you as much as they can , for example we cleaned up perfect and we didn't have any kind of dust or stain specially we cleaned bathrooms and refrigerator pretty well, but the manager who is VERY VERY MEAN!!! Told us we don't accept your job , should be professional compony, it means you don't need to do any thing for them because eather way they will charge you by

The only good thing about this apartment homes is the location of Ladera Ranch but that's about it.
I have lived here for about an year and since the beginning it was all problems, one after the other for me.
1. Imagine having a mold in your carpet just after you move in? Isn't that creepy? What followed it was a 15-20 days fix period that put a noisy heater and plastic sheets hanging all around the room for the entire time.
2. If you like to workout and plan on using the community gym, then think again as it doesn't have any weights and the management doesn't have a plan on getting them soon

Do not move here! The Management staff seem very nice, and maybe the new staff is more genuine than the last two we experienced in the two years my wife and I lived here. However, it was always one problem after the next, whether it be noisy neighbors, smoking neighbors, or just maintenance staff taking forever to complete a job only 75%. Nothing was ever repaired to the same condition when you move in. But above all the rising price year after year is what pushed us out. Each year the cost went up $100, and in the end we had to pay the same price to live here as that of the Irvine Company Apartments
