Derby Assisted Living is designed to give each resident a sense of home and independence. Our 33 private rooms are built much like one's own home. Bedrooms are located short distances from the living and dining areas. Kitchenettes and ample storage increase the value of each individual home within the building.
Our spacious courtyard allows residents to enjoy socializing outdoors. Take a walk around the sidewalk or enjoy talking with friends under the gazebo. Apartments are available with direct access to the courtyard. These apartments each have their own patio where residents can decorate with lawn furniture, flower pots, or anything else they would enjoy.
Private bathrooms with roll-in showers to accommodate wheelchairs are accompanied by large linen closets with drawer space for towels, blankets, sheets, or anything else you might need. Plenty of storage space is available in the room. The linen closet, multiple kitchen cabinets, and extra closet space in each room ensure all your belongings will fit perfectly in your apartment.
Daily exercise classes are available in our activity room. Residents gather for low impact exercise routines that utilize stretches and weights to help limber up joints and help keep residents healthy. Most exercise classes are lead by the activity coordinator but we also have the ability to use DVDs for a variety of classes.

I can't say enough good things about this living facility. My mother is approaching her 5th anniversary at Derby Assisted Living .The experience has been fantastic. The staff works as a team to care for each individual depending on their needs. They offer numerous activities for their residents from games, music, & daily exercise. They even have monthly planned outings.
The nursing staff monitors each individuals needs and takes a personal interest in the comfort of every resident.
The kitchen staff provides nutritious meals that meet each individuals dietary needs.
