We are East Wichita and Andover's newest senior living community, conveniently located just east of 159th Street at 1419 and 1513 W. Central Ave, Andover, Kansas. The Mapleton provides senior care ranging from assisted living and memory care to respite and transition care. Our facilities consist of two, residential-like facilities where our residents enjoy daily activities, restaurant-style dining, and beautifully decorated living areas.
When I made arrangements for my mother to stay at The Mapleton I was very concerned about how 'unsocial' my mother might be. As a Registered Nurse Anesthetist for over 30 years I have high expectations for my mother's care and I really expected to come back in a few days and hear how she just stayed in her room and kept to herself.

!!! BEWARE !!! This place is one of the most unprofessional places. If you are thinking about employment here, think again. If you are thinking about putting your parents or grandparents in here think again. My wife worked here and they have numerous times almost had there residents O.D. due to not paying attention to medication doses. The D.O.N. will try to pull scandalous actions such as if you agree to work a shift with a set time off, she will schedule your relief at a different time behind your back to make you stay later. If you are sick with covid symptoms and you go home you may lose your

I’m very impressed with the staff. They care so much about making a comfortable home for the residents. The health and safety of the residents is their first priority, to the point that not a single case of COVID occurred among all their residents for the entire duration of the pandemic. That’s amazing dedication, and I’ve not heard of a single other facility who can make that claim.

As soon as you walk into the building you feel something special. It looks beautiful and put together. Everybody is a extremely kind and hard working. They are willing to help you with anything. They staff is very easy to work with. They provide many fun activities and events. The food is amazing! Everyone who lives here raves about the caring staff. I couldn’t be happier with the Mapleton. 🍁
