Our style story started to take shape more than 30 years ago. Cheryl LeDoux's career had largely been based around managing clothing stores. With an eye for fashion and a desire to help people, she enjoyed her job, and it was relatively simple to help women in their 20s find clothing that worked for both their body and their budget - both of which don't have as many constraints as they do when we age.

First started under the name, "The Difference is You, " selling accessories at Western Racket Club in 1983, Cheryl later moved her business to our current location along Lower Boones Ferry Road in 1989.Majority of the shopping for clients was done at major local department stores but as we had a hard time finding clothes that worked for our clients, we gradually carried more and more of our own merchandise.

Our motivation for opening a clothing store in Vancouver was to bring our expertise as stylist across the Columbia River to help women in Vancouver look and feel their best.

I feel fortunate to live in a state with fresh, forest air and absolutely love exploring the trails of Forest Park. Art is another passion. First Thursday art walk in the Pearl District is one of my favorite places to get inspired. I have an eclectic style with a lot of variety. I'm constantly trying new combos to keep it fresh.
