About Report

Our grandfather being among the first pioneers to bring a covered wagon over Teton Pass and settle in the valley, our family history is intricately woven with the history of Jackson Hole. The town of Wilson was named after our great, great-uncle. As fifth generation Jackson locals we have an intimate understanding and appreciation for Jackson Hole, its rich history, and also the world-renown travel destination it has become.

Rodeo is a part of our western heritage. Watch the Cowboys and Cowgirls compete in bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding team roping, barrel racing and even a calf scramble all the kids can participate in. Small hotel, very clean, we were up early, like 5am, the cleaning lady was very hard at work, getting all her things together outside rooms. Not far from anything in Jackson Hole, walking distance. Reasonable rates for Jackson Hole, gentleman up front was very helpful, about the area.

Stayed 5 nights at the 4 Winds Motel in Jackson, WY this month and it was wonderful. Clean rooms, courteous staff, excellent room service, very reasonable prices, great location, etc. The 4 of us in our party had 3 separate rooms and all of us were very pleased with the 4 Winds. Nothing super fancy but it’s the best motel to in Jackson.

Based on prior reviews, we were expecting an older but clean hotel. However, the room was dirty, with traces of animals on the bedsheets, dirty carpet, and hairs in the bathroom. the room had poor aeration which resulted in a very strong humid smell. We do not mind older but clean should be a basic requirement, especially in covid times. As reported by other guests, the location could not be better, an easy walk to every shop and restaurant in Jackson hole.

The location is fantastic and the owner is a very nice man. The motel is a bit dated, but the bed is comfy and the shower is hot. It was the perfect overnight stay.

Stayed here for a night a guys trip. The staff are friendly and the area is awesome. Not the nicest or newest hotel but definitely would stay here again 🤙🏻😎

Excellent walk to town location (two blocks to "downtown"). Owner was very nice and pleasure to chat with. Room was modest and clean. If you want luxury, you can certainly pay big bucks for that in Jackson, but for a basic motel, we'd stay again.

Older hotel with stairs difficult to climb for older person. We were placed upstairs. I would have felt safer with better door locks. Used a chair for extra security. Smelled ok and appeared clean, but we probably won’t come back. Had to turn in key to housekeeping when I met them outside.
