We have a family of 4 the bunk room was just too small for all of us and our gear. Ended up getting a second room. But for just a place to sleep and be on site, it's ca great deal. They do not have much to in the way of food preparation area.

As simple and affordable as it gets but EXACTLY what a hiking party needed right when we needed it! The Hostel is such a different world and it's awesome. Hangouts downstairs, cooking outside, laundry available, MOOSE wandering through the picnic area- everything you could need to reset between backpacking endeavors without paying through the nose for a Jackson room. The staff knew everything we needed help with and were extremely friendly. Will definitely keep The Hostel in mind for future trek layovers!

We almost canceled due to a couple of bad reviews. It was exactly as described. A no frills room with a clean bathroom and comfy bed at a reasonable price. Great, convenient location. Nice common area with coffee, tv and a game room. Perfect for a couple.

This is the third September I've stayed in the Hostel before or after a backpacking trip in the Winds or the Tetons. The staff is always awesome, the rooms are rustic and comfortable, plus there's always coffee! We've always stayed in the private bunk rooms. They are clean, the common area is great, the guests are diverse. Feels great to sleep well but save money to spend elsewhere in Teton Village and Jackson.

Honestly, not a bad room.
I mean the place was a bit dingy and dated and not the prettiest rooms.
The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and I'm certain they heard us.
However, we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Clean rooms. Nice bed. Great price.
Also, the drive from Teton village to Jackson Hole is beautiful. I'm glad we weren't able to book in Jackson Hole. We would have missed out on the amazing views and trails and such.

We had a private room, was quite specious with clean toilets and shower but other facilities was very simple. 4th floor with no elevator was not always easy after long days of hikes. The common area was very nice, full of cool games and activities. Location is very good.

Great prices for the location and pet friendly! Staff is extremely accommodating. My boyfriend and I are traveling cross country and seeing sites along the way so it was great short notice and decided we needed more time and they let us add a night. Basic necessities met!

The room was cramped. We had 3 guys stay in one room that could sleep 4 people with the 4 beds. The shower & bathroom were both very small. There is no air conditioning. It looks great on the outside, and the lobby area is massive.

The Hostel.
We.booled this hotel for June and it was cheapest around area. Only need a place to sleep and not really staying in area. This is not a high-end hotel so don't expect a 5 star hotel. Rooms are basically just a bed and a bathroom. No AC,TV, or refrigerator. Hotel does have a refrigerator close to lobby to store food and drinks. We had a cooler and was able to use hotel ice for our food and drinks. They have a game room area and lounging area. I would stay here again if just traveling through.

This place is ok. It's not the worst place I've ever stayed, but one night at $170 for two people this place is garbage. Partially our fault not having a solid road trip plan. We came through Yellowstone down to Grande Teton hoping to find a campsite or hotel for the night. It started to get late, and after stopping at a few places with nothing available this was the cheapest option (everything else being $250+). It ended up being the most expensive and worst value accommodation of our two week trip. This was a weeknight in early September. If it were ski season I can see this price

Never stayed at a hostel before - so something we wanted to experience. Our private room was everything it was supposed to be. 4 twin beds, clean sheets, towels and comforters. Box fan provided for cooling. With the nearby accommodations the cost is significantly less than if you stayed in them.

We stayed here two nights while visiting the Grant Tetons and Yellowstone last week. You really can't get a better location or price.

They share the same parking lot as the Hotel Terra for about a 1/4 of the cost. Yes, this place is very basic but offered everything we needed for our short stay. Clean, comfortable, safe & GREAT location.

The front desk staff are super nice and helpful and offered us great recommendations on where to eat and what to do in Teton Village.

The downstairs to this place is like a massive 70s rec room - perfect for relaxing, storing foods (they have a fridge

I've been in many hostels across a few continents, and this is a really good one! The rooms are all quad rooms (two twin beds and two bunk beds) with a private bathroom. The common area is awesome! There's so many chairs and tables, some tables with chess and checkers, and an area with pillows and comfortable seating. There's a shelf of board games and books, and there's even a ping pong table and a pool table! It's great. There are laundry machines and dryers as well as huge refrigerators and toaster ovens. The slight downside is there's not really a real kitchen

I find vacationing at Grand Tetons expensive but this place saved us a lot of $$$$. We are simple backpackers who only require a comfortable bed and a clean private bathroom. Everything else is just a plus.

I found the Hostel looking for an affordable clean safe place to stay near Yellowstone and The Tetons. This fits the bill.
The folks at the front desk were extremely helpful with directions to and around the area. Information on the parks etc.
I opted for a quad room for some privacy, Rooms are ample clean and comfortable.
The only con is it is an older wooden. Building so you hear guests waking outside and above but it wasn't unbearable by any means, just a lot if creaky boards. I Highly recommend.

This place has everything you need on a budget. It is a hostel, but you can get your own private room and bathroom. The walls are thin, the beds are ok, think of it like cabin camping but with all the modern amenities. There's a washer and dryer, a game room, a coffee station. We were there in the rain but the outdoor area looked pretty fun too. The showers were hot and a perfect spot to stop on our way from Grand Teton to Yellowstone. Front desk check in process was prompt. But the rooms go up for four levels so be prepared to hike up! Worth every bit of the 119 for the king room, especially

Spent two days here and my grown kids (16 & 21) loved it!!! Unlike other establishments in Jackson Hole, the Hostel provides everything you need at a reasonable cost. If you come here expecting the Four -Season style, you will be disappointed. Amazing local coffee is served every day, clean towels, beds & bathrooms are offered, and the game rooms and hangouts are a hit! The fridge, microwave, kitchen, ice machine & coolers were all convenient. Every single employee encounter was positive--we had a great experience and would return in a heartbeat. Come to the Hostel expecting a community

I'm a big fan of The Hostel but it's not for everyone. I've been coming here for 10 years on and off in ski season with kids. It's not really a hostel since you reserve a private room, but it has the community feel of a hostel. Lots of young people, college students, ski bums, families on a budget, wanderers, and, yes, vegetarians. Everyone is so nice and friendly but there is also the excitement of the skiing that pervades the place.

Here are some other details. 1) The cost is very moderate even though it's a five minute walk from the Four Seasons and next door to a

This is a great place to stay - so close to the lifts, great atmosphere downstairs that includes a pool table, shuffleboard, tv (where we caught the super bowl) and tons of board games.

After just coming back from a 30 min bus ride into jackson to check out the town, I'm so glad this place exists close to the slopes.

I stayed with two friends in a quad room that had its own bathroom. There is a kitchen downstairs with access to a shared refrigerator and some other ways to cook, and do laundry. The walls are a bit thin, but has comfortable beds. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed

Pretty good location. 1 mile away from the south gate of Grand Teton national park. But on the way here from the park, you need to go through a 6 mile dirt road, which is narrow.

Many expensive hotel locate here too, but this one is surely the most economic friendly one. I'd recommended here if you are traveling on a budget.

The building is make of wood, so expect to here some noise when people upstairs are walking. If you are a very light sleeper, it may affect your sleep. We stayed at a king bed room. The room is pretty big. No TV in the room, but I really don't need a TV when I

The Hostel seems to have some good things going for it like the location, price, game area, mattresses, bathrooms, coffee service, and kitchen. However, it has some not so good things going for it. I encourage you to read on.

The location is great. It's an easy 5 minute walk to the lifts. The price is much lower than the other hotels in the area. If you're on a budget, it will save you some money. The game area in the basement was nice and there's a kitchen down there too. The bathrooms in the rooms look newer and the mattresses seemed to be in good condition.
