Wrong time of year to visit but have been here many times before in the summer. Great place to hang with family and friends. Safe environment for kids. Nice nature hike from the campground area and also pretty decent beach with a great view. Bathrooms are well kept and they have a concession stand during summer.

Stayed there for three nights. Beautiful grounds with lots of full hook-up sites along with hike-in spots. The bottom loop is right on the road which is somewhat busy. There's a trail that runs along a creek. Fairly moderate climb so be prepared. No view from the top unfortunately.

I booked both campsite #38&36 and I am so glad I did. From reading the reviews I suspected that the campsite would be close to each other, and they were right. The campsite are indeed on top of each other, absolutely no privacy. Being so close to the road doesn't help either, constant road noise. These campsites in general are small with tight turns and large trees to make manuvering challenge. My 5th wheel is 34ft long, I barely fit in site#36 which is a pull thru. Access to the beach is a simple crossing of the road. Had awesome day digging manila clams. The 2 mile hike that loops behind the

Every campsite is sooooo close together! People literally can look into your camper or tent! There is no privacy once so ever. The beach is nice tho. We where right next to the bathroom and people literally walked thru our campsite to go to the bathroom! The bathroom stalls are so short! People can literally see your butt! There is a fire pit! I personally would never go here again.

This is one of my favorite local State parks. It's super chill, especially in the off-season period. If you are a hiker, the canyon trail is a must! Many old growth trees and lots of elevation. Treat yourself. You'll like it!
