Services
Small World Daycare has been located in both Apollo and Vandergrift for over 30 years with our mission being to care for and nurture each child as an individual, while making parents feel comfortable and confident in choosing us to be a part of their children's lives. We provide tender loving care to make your child feel comfortable in the hands of our experienced caregivers.
Each of our locations have a cozy, comfortable room where our infants are taken care of daily. Our infant room contains not only a lot of colorful, stimulating toys but also lots of TLC. It is not uncommon to walk into this room and find an infant being rocked while being fed their bottle. The Staff in our infant rooms are trained in infant/child CPR and Pediatric First aid procedures.
No matter which of our centers you visit our toddler rooms are full of energy and lots of fun. Our caregivers that work with the children from ages 13 months-35 months are energetic, enthusiastic and love to play with the children. They are trained in infant/child CPR as well as pediatric First aid.
Our preschool program is a great place for children ages 3-5 years old. All of our facilities have a teacher in the classroom with a BS in Education. They also are trained in infant/child CPR and take trainings throughout the year to keep themselves up to date with daycare procedures as well as changes in education.
Our school age room facilitates children who are in Kindergarten through sixth grade before and after school, when there are school delays, cancellations and or closures (scheduled or weather related) as well as during the summer. The school age children are offered breakfast before school, a snack after school and lunch when school is not in session.

Miss Diane was awesome but the other staff was AWFUL! I walked in on one staff member, miss Jill was in a child’s face screaming and completely lost her temper until she realized I was there when I said snapped around the corner and said something and then she magically turned nice. Then a few weeks later I walked In and the older infant room “teacher” had my son in the corner to the point he couldn’t move, yelling at him and was squeezing his arm so tight it was red! When I went to say something she looked at me with the most awful mad look turned around and walked away without telling
