Beach High School offers you, if you're a teenager, an opportunity to gain the freedom to pursue your authentic interests and develop your natural talents outside of a traditional high school. If you're beyond your high school years and don't have a diploma, you can earn one through Beach High School.
If you think you might want to enroll, contact me so that we can decide together whether you can accomplish your goals as part of Beach High School. Beach High School, while very non-traditional, provides diplomas that are just as legal and legitimate as any other diploma from any other school. You should know, however, that BHS is not accredited.
If you earn a diploma when you're younger than 18, you gain freedom from the law that compels you to go to high school, you also get out from under the laws that restrict your hours when you work and require you to have a work permit, and you gain independent access to community colleges. You can earn a diploma by submitting a portfolio.
If you're in an educational setting where you feel you're not gaining what you'd like to gain, you may profit from moving into a new situation. For example, you may be enrolled as a sophomore in a traditional high school and gaining from your schoolwork far less than you're capable of, but you want to go to law school and need a way to get there.
