We strive to have a comprehensive array of services and products. We believe it is our level of service and commitment to giving you the best hearing possible that sets us apart from others in our profession. After the tests have been completed we will show you your test results and advise you as to what the best hearing aids are for you.
At Oticon, their goal is to make hearing aids that work together and work like the brain does. The reason is that we hear with our brain - even though the sound is transferred from the outer ear to the middle ear and through the inner ear, the brain is where speech understanding and comprehension happens.
In addition to a comprehensive hearing evaluation, we also offer repairs of hearing aids. We take care of most major brands, such as Siemens, Phonak, Widex, Oticon and several others. The instruments are sent by either Federal Express or UPS to ensure that they get back as fast as possible. Another service we offer is a loaner for the time your hearing aid is away being repaired.
Dann Hearing Center makes custom swim molds for those who don't want to get water in their ears. The swim molds come in a variety of colors and float (certainly helpful if they accidentally come out of your ear when you're in the water!). If you need custom made swim molds, we can make the impressions of your ears and order a set for you.

As most everyone reading this comment knows, selection of a particular hearing device is only a small part of what is involved in obtaining best overall hearing improvement. Most significantly, the selection of the best possible provider is paramount. Only by choosing a professional provider, such as the Dann Hearing Center in Norwalk, CT, will you be assured of best possible fitting and frequency matching.

I had a sudden onset of severe hearing loss. I met with four different audiologists in Connecticut. One refused to work with me due to the complexity of my condition. Three others quickly set me up with trials of standard hearing aides programed to my audiogram. These did not work well for the complexity of my condition. I have been hearing impaired since my twenties, and it wasn't until I found the Dann Hearing Aid Center about 15 years ago that I finally found someone who cared. Chris Dann is a dedicated professional who understands hearing impairment, is always up to date on the latest technology, never tries to push you into buying something unless you are comfortable with a decision, and is always willing to help you if you need a tweak.
