I can't recommend D.A. Computer more highly. I went in for a few upgrades to my PC. David was quick to diagnose what was going on and make suggestions. He worked with me to get exactly what I wanted , communicating via phone or email. He bent over backwards for me. I will be a repeat customer.

The best prices in Providence coupled with honesty and integrity. One other replace said they would charge 100 to just diagnose and open it up and David did it for free. He advised the part is too expensive and rare because of Covid so no fix is best. Would refuse any payment as tip. Would come back again. Also he was recommended by another laptop place for having more experience with my complicated issue. By far this is THE laptop repair place.

I had an unknown severity of water damage to my laptop that wouldn't turn on. Saw all the reviews on here and gave this place a go. Would 100% go back and recommend! I figured it would take a few days and it sounded like he had a lot of computers dropped off just that morning but David opened it up and looked at it early on and I figure realized it was a relatively simple corrosion clean up and it was ready the next day, which is way faster than I expected, super friendly, reasonable for the quality and speed of service and so far my laptop is like it was before the water spill. I’m an IT repairman myself and when I traveled all the way across the country to visit my daughter I saw the system I built for her years ago wasn’t working.

After attempting to solve a CPU heat issue on my own, I ended up damaging the heatsink mounts. I was not able to put everything back to gether, nor could I find anyone else willing to work on the problem after I had tried doing it on my own. Dave was absolutely great! He took the computer, made the necessary repairs, and got my system back to me the following day. I could not thank him enough! Give D.A. Computer a shot. You will not be disappointed!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! Dave was AMAZING! I needed to install more RAM in my laptop but had completely stripped screws in and could not get them out. I called at 10am, dropped it off shortly thereafter, and everything was done and good as new by noon! Incredibly nice guy, exceptional service! Customer for life!!

Dave is professional, punctual, up-front, and a nice guy to boot. Prices seem reasonable (he quotes his repair work by the hour) and you are allowed to purchase the replacement parts yourself to make sure you have a warranty for yourself in case the replacement component ever develops problems in the future. He disassembled my entire laptop and replaced the motherboard with no issues. Thanks, Dave!
EDIT: Following a second visit 6 months later to address a new problem that had developed (fan failure), Dave noticed while working on my machine that my battery had begun to bloat, which I now understand
