An Educational Psychologist provides an array of services, which includes but not limited to the following: diagnosis of psychological disorders related to academic learning processes; conducts psycho-educational assessments for the purposes of identifying special needs; develops, consults, and coordinates treatment programs and interventions with educators and parents to address a child's social, behavioral, and academic challenges.
It may be frustrating for parents and students when learning becomes challenging. Poor grades and slow academic progress can lead to low self-esteem and self-confidence in children and a sense of helplessness in parents. A psycho-educational assessment can help find solutions to a child's learning challenges.

Words cannot express our gratitude for Nancy and Joseph. They are truly masters in the field of IEE assessments and reports. Their attention to detail, area of expertise, and excellent communication barely scratch the surface of their many skillsets. I appreciated how much care and love they had towards underrepresented children and the field they work in. I am so blessed to have worked with an awesome team that provides unbiased assessing and explaining of results. Highly recommend!

She took the time to help listen, understand our needs and provide us with much needed helpful tips about how to best adjust to our new normal. She is someone who clearly enjoys her work and has so much experience helping all sorts of kids and families. I highly recommend speaking with her to discuss how to best meet the needs of your family.

After having some issues with my child's school district, the district and I agreed to have some parts of my child's IEE redone including having a full evaluation done by a psychologist. My child is on the spectrum so I felt it was important to find someone that was understanding of my child's condition but also someone who was patient and understanding. I asked several people for referrals and luckily a professional acquaintance highly recommended Nancy Aliff. After making contact with Nancy I knew she was a perfect fit for our child. Nancy was extremely organized, VERY THOROUGH

I called Nancy Aliff in regards to an evaluation for my son. She advised me that the evaluation can be completed through school, free of charge. Nancy also provided me with the correct pathway of testing that should be followed to test for ADHD. From that short conversation with Nancy, I could tell she is someone who truly cares about people and will take the time to inform those of us who are ignorant about the process of diagnosis.

I contacted Ms. Nancy Aliff to inquire about testing my son who is having trouble learning at school. Ms. Nancy consulted with me on the phone and didn't recommend that I assess him just yet. She provided a few recommendations and educated me on how to seek help for my son at school. I am glad I talked to her. She was honest and I feel like she wasn't trying to sell me her service. She genuinely wanted to help my son.

I was concerned with my daughter's hyperactive behaviors at school and contacted Ms. Aliff to assess her. She did a very thorough assessment and provided a psych report that I was able to give to my daughter's school so that they could provide her with the services and accommodations she needed. Thank you Nancy for helping us.
