At their historic location which has been providing hospitality since 1903, the current owners are proud to continue the time-honored tradition of operating a full service Inn, Restaurant & Pub. It all began for owners Dave and Sherry when, after spending 20 years in the insurance industry, they decided to leave the corporate world and pursue the dream of becoming restaurateurs.
The Inn at Bully's Restaurant & Pub was built in 1903 by A.G. Beattie as a Hotel-Tavern for the thriving mill and railroad town of Columbia. Originally named the Union Hotel it provided warm, clean rooms upstairs, and food and drink downstairs for the many travelers and railroad workers passing through this bustling town.
A bit of big city in our little town! Maker's Mark Whiskey, fresh lemon & cherry juice, topped with a bit of dry red wine, served in a lemon & cherry garnished rocks glass. Pomegranate Liqueur, Blueberry Schnapps, Red Wine & splash of club soda, served in a wine glass with fresh orange, maraschino cherry & blue pineapple.

First built as a railroad hotel to support the bustling town of Columbia, the Inn experienced a variety of changes since its inception in 1903. Even though there have been variety of tavern owners throughout the years, the common theme remained as one of hospitality and congeniality for all.

This place has been on our list for a while. We finally made it there and we’re so pleased that we did. The place was clean and impeccable and very comfortable. The staff were beyond helpful, and were attentive to our every need. Food was exceptional. The flavors were robust and layered. The flavor profile was enhanced in the sauces, herbs and spices used to draw out the flavor of the meal. We had the ahi tuna and duck comfit. Both meals were exceptional. The dessert was delectable- cheesecake and cream brûlée. We will be back.

For anyone to rate this restaurant less than 5 stars they are brain dead. I am a classically trained chef who is very critical of restaurants. My wife and I went to Bully's for a nice night out. Little did we know walking into a nice Pub we would have the best meal I've had in years. The Duck Confit was amazing and duck is my favorite protein. Service was top notch and the beer and wine list was superb. Will be returning often. Best restaurant I've been to in years!

We came to town for a wedding and were struggling to find good options in the vicinity. We found this inn in a google search and were a bit skeptical. It ended up being such a gem of a stay . The owner let us check in early to get ready for the wedding . Quiet and clean everything we needed and more. There was a nice shared area that offered coffee snacks and pastries—nice touch. Would have loved to try the restaurant but the wedding took too long. Next time!

Dave, the owner of this wonderful little establishment, has actually restored a little bit of my faith in humanity. Upon arriving, (my honey and I had a room reserved at the inn up above the restaurant/pub) he greeted us with a welcome, a smile, and a handshake. He gave us a tour, explained the ins and outs, and escorted us to our room, all while treating us as if we were friends or family coming to stay a night or two. It's a beautiful building, gorgeous wood throughout, those really pretty copper tile looking ceilings, immaculately clean and neat, and the lighting was just right.

BULLY'S!!! A star in the old beat up river town of Columbia PA lol I grew up a town over and currently live in Columbia right down the street. The atmosphere is beautiful, perfect place to take a first date lol I recommend going here everytime I get asked out it's romantic, dim lighting. Last time I was here I got Sirloin Bistro Steak Aged 10oz. center cut coulotte with a wild mushroom crumbled bleu cheese sauce. And ughhh let me tell you!! The meat melted in your mouth, the blue cheese sauce was TO DIE FOR and wasn't overly cheesey or heavy so it paired perfectly together with

We had a Local Flavor coupon so we jumped on the bike and headed on down. We arrived at 3:40 but they opened at 4:00, so we say on the steps outside and waited. By 3:50, Kayla (apologies if I'm spelling the name incorrectly) came outside and greeted us warmly and invited us inside. We chose to sit at the bar as we often do. Kayla was magnificent. We actually ate here two nights of our mini vacation. First night we had appetizers and a shrimp Caesar salad. Crab dip was delicious. Scallops were okay but nothing to brag about. The salad was huge and the shrimp were so good! It was enough for us to share.
The second night I got the crab cake dinner which was delicious. My husband got a cheeseburger which he was in love with! We would definitely go again.

First visit here. Great experience. The bar mixed our bourbon drinks well. We had the sweet potato, deep fried with candied bacon. Damn! Then we had a cuban sandwich thingy in a puff pastry. Best thing I ate in a month! We dined in the bar area which was turn of the century styled. Bottom line, we loved it and will return.

My goodness that meal was good! My wife and I headed to Bully's for dinner and we are thrilled with everything. The service was great; we were greeted and seated within 30 seconds of entering. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We started with the crab dip. It was a sizable crock and tasted great. Then came the burgers. It is a half pound steak blend burger. It was incredible (came with hand cut fries)! I loved my mushroom burger, but the bacon jam burger my wife got was amazing. Their house made bacon jam was delicious. We will go again (and again and again).

I was disappointed that Bully's did not honor a coupon I purchased on LocalFlavor prior to COVID for takeout use. Understandably, their policy is eat-in only but that is not an option for us at this time with the COVID situation. They offer no outside seating so take-out was my only option to use the coupon. Looks like it will just be a loss of $ and an unearned gain for them. We used to go often prior to COVID. Now we are going to a place more supportive of those who are trying to social distance. Not recommended if you are among those who need to social distance. Pass on this one.

I want to take a moment to rave about this restaurant. We came to Bully's for the first time last night to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were so glad we chose this place. I first want to highlight our phenomenal waitress! She was so attentive to details and so accommodating to my many food intolerances. She was extremely helpfully and knew the menu well, she was great at suggesting things. After hearing good things about Bully's, decided to take the family here. Enjoyed the atmosphere & hospitality. We ordered a Serloin Bistro Steak and 2 of The Bay Burgers, along with some drinks. The food was excellent!! You can't go wrong with the Serloin Steak entrée... The crab meat on the Bay Burgers was top notch & the fries are onpoint. Simply put... one of the best restaurants in the area. Definitely looking forward to returning here and trying more on the menu.

Great service! Wonderful waitress! We had a Groupon so we saved $30 & paid $35+ tip. That was a burger (mushroom & horseradish cheese with added bacon jam), seafood catch (swordfish) and 4 beers, with leftovers. We've eaten here before and always had good food. Burgers are AMAZING!! I DEFINITELY recommend adding the housemade bacon jam.

Waiter was at over the top first and then disappeared. Forgot our soup. We reminded him and he went away. Soup never came.
Good beer selection but we couldn't get a refill. 2nd time we got him.....last time we'll go. He must be a relative.
