Had a wonderful birthday dinner with my wife. Both of us had great steaks grilled to perfection, tasty mashed potatoes, house sautéed seasonal vegetables. We also shared a Mediterranean salad with creamy feta… dressing that was to die for! We have been meaning to come here for years, and only now made it here. Sadly, they are going out of business due to staffing problems that are post Covid related. Come while you can!

First and last time at dingus.... To be out of so much as in appetizer to cuts of steaks at 7 on a Saturday is pathetic. Then to be served a raw chicken breast is absolutely disgusting and a healthy hazard.… Absolutely awful with correcting the service also, would not recommend to any family friends maybe an enemies I want to have food poisoning.

Heard some good things, so we gave it a shot. Went with a group of 5 last night. 4 of us ordered steaks and the two orders of filet mignon (small portions) came out burned (Asked for rare to medium rare) sent one back, came out 'Slightly' better. The two other steaks were also overcooked but luckily the sauce hid some of it. The salmon was good.

I've been to a lot of different venues for company Christmas parties. We had the little upstairs private area, the service was amazing. All the people that we're helping our group we're on top of it 100%. The meals came out together the food was pretty damn good, the beer was excellent. And the environment as a whole it's just, it's just freaking great. I am disappointed that I have not came in there sooner, if you're local and you haven't tried it you are messing up. Get in there and spend some money!

So disappointing. I keep trying with this place because I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses. My mom was here from Utah and my brother drove up from Sacramento. Unfortunately our Thanksgiving dinner was a huge fail. We received our dinner very shortly after we ordered. The food was cold and the stuffing tasted like rancid oil... if you can even imagine that. Also, we asked for bread and received frozen bread sticks. Completely Overpriced... never ever again.

The serving staff were a bit delayed at times, perhaps from the shift of lunch to dinner or from handing orders... but nevertheless quite courteous. I ordered a spicy burger that was set to be cooked medium, but came out looking and tasting very rare. Pink undercooked meat ahoy! Might not choose that menu option again, not at that price. Their fries are tasty, however! Pick and choose wisely...

Service staff was great. Host and wait staff were pleasant and we got good service. Food is just so, so and I would not go back. I had the Chicken Picatta and it was bland and had lemon seeds in the sauce, rice was 2 star, and veggies I just don't care for a pile of squash(just not my thing). I will give other places a try when in the area. Enjoyable older building vibe and some tables have a nice view, but not worth the so, so food.

We were very disappointed with our meal tonight . My husband called me from work telling my daughter and I to get dressed up because he was taking us on a date . We arrived at dingus McGee early ( we made reservations for outside ) They sat us near the bar and told us when they had a open spot they would take us there . 20 minutes later the lady came up to usand told us that she didn't realize we were wanting to sit outside and she had everything open No big deal I ordered shrimp and specially asked for tartar My husband ordered a Philly burger and joked with the waitress he wanted

We've been coming here for over eight, and always come here for great steaks and drinks. It's been at least two years since we've been, so we were super excited to be back. We ordered the potato skins and were shocked, that it had canned, nacho type cheese, not fresh! I didn't say anything, as I couldn't remember if that's how it was in the past.
I checked the photos, and sure enough, it was always made with fresh cheese. Not sure if this is a new thing, but so greatly disappointed, as the main dishes we had were so tasty!

The restaurant has an excellent location and beautiful sunset views from the restaurant and deck. The staff are top notch, friendly and efficient. I have eaten at this restaurant for years and have never had a bad experience. Finally the food is absolutely excellent. I've had steak, fish, hamburgers and more and nothing that we have eaten is anything but fantastic.

I highly recommend this place. I ordered the Bandito Burger and wow was it tasty. The fries were crispy and delicious. Our waitress and I think she is the manager were so kind and always made sure we were good. The bartender was super nice and cracked a few jokes with us. Not to mention the drinks were phenomenal and reasonably priced. I will def be coming back here for more. Thank you Dingus:)

I ordered their fish and chips and they were the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. When the fish and chips were delivered we started laughing because it looked like 3 fish sticks in a basket. The fish was tough and grainy and the batter was worse than fish sticks! I told the server, Drew, quietly how bad the fish was so not to make a big deal about it. Drew made it worse by loudly telling us that he had served over 900 fish and chips without any complaints. He went on and on to the point we didn't want to talk anymore. Basically, he was telling me, the customer, that I was mistaken! Go figure

No no and no !!! Where did u get the fish from ? Gordon fish in the frozen section at Walmart ????? It was horrible and it was pre frozen not fresh the fish was not flakey and just bad. The skirt steak with that sauce it was so liquidy no flavor. The calamari was OK with that aïoli I think that's what it was raspberry flavored but I didn't taste raspberry not worth the price for this place at all.......

This place is undercover cool. It's an unassuming old school steakhouse with no frills, no bs, and just plainly good food. We came here after having a super emotional day dealing with my mother in law dying, and the staff was nothing short of amazing.
The place has lots of old dark wood, definitely homey style. Food was generous and delicious. We got a place of potato skins with cheese and bacon

This place used to be my all time favorite but it has really gone downhill. 1: They reduced the items on their menu, which eliminated several of my favorite foods; 2. They stopped providing bread that you could get before your meal; 3. significantly raised their prices and included a 4% surcharge for paying with credit card; 4. Food portions were small. The New York steaks were not very thick and were 25-30% fat (which my puppies at home got to benefit from). I am sad to say this was my final trip and won't be back.

We are very responsible Yelpers. Been a while since we had bad meals. We were there to celebrate a birthday...what a bust of a restaurant.
Lousy foods we were served, salt mines in the meals. The veggies were soggy and our main meals were ill-prepared. Spent a lot of money there.
What a waste of time and wallet spending.
Save your monies for another restaurant. We will be going to a different restaurant on the weekend to celebrate the birthday again.
In closing this place needs to close down, they know it and should do the right thing by doing so.

Been going here for years. Covid screwed that up like everything else! Went back tonight after over a year of takeout. Menu has shrunk and now they charge 4% extra for credit cards. First place I've encountered a credit surcharge other than gas stations ever. Food was good, though. Still a good place to eat but bring cash if you don't want to pay a premium.

I took my wife to them Mother's Day Dinner. I have to say it was one of the most disappointing meals we have ever had. The food was of very poor quality especially for the exorbitant price. The menu for the buffet was misleading. There was no "Filet Mignon with Demi glaze". It was Pot roast. The turkey was dry with no gravy. My wife had the salmon which seemed to be of frozen variety with no taste. The "house potatoes" seemed to be from a frozen bag of diced potatoes. The rest of the items were of similar quality. I'm not a local, but my family comes here regularly. Maybe this last weekend was unusual, or they were short staffed, but the service was very slow, meals came out not hot. The fish and chips ordered at the table were so greasy they could not be eaten. My Caesar salad tasted old, dressing was excessive. The server seemed to know some of the "locals" so he went to their tables regularly while we were ignored. The bar area was super busy, so it might be a better place to drink than eat. After years of going there for excellent steak entree's, our entire table of 4 were extremely disappointed last Tuesday.
The 2 guys got the ribeye. It was the worst $35 ribeye I have ever been served. It has a better looking twin brother at Sizzler. Just terrible. The flavor and prep was excellent. But it was " - 1/2" thick. Cooked medium well (on a medium rare request). And 20-25% had to be cut away as unedible.
The 2 gals got the Seafood Fettucine. It lacked seafood. It lacked flavor. It did not seem fresh. Neither finished it. Neither wanted to take the leftovers

What a horrible excuse for a restaurant!The place is circa 1970 and I'm talking about the carpet as well. Yuck! The food was horrible! We paid $26 for steak and shrimp. The steak was tiny and fairly tough, although cooked to exactly medium rare. The mashed potatoes were INSTANT. Yes, you heard me correct!. The shrimp were the skinniest, scrawniest anorexic shrimp I've ever seen. Unbelievable that any cook could put that on a plate. I will never go back!
