James Alexander Corporation has established an extensive Quality Assurance program that is designed to meet all of the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration for both drug products and medical devices. All manufacturing procedures at James Alexander Corporation are conducted in accordance with established procedures designed to assure stock medical products of the highest quality and purity.
James Alexander has stability data to support a 3 year expiration date at 36-46 degrees F. This data allows for shipment of product to our customer at uncontrolled temps and during the filling and further packaging processing the product is stored at room temperature for up to 16 hours at a time. Exposure to conditions other than those listed on the product packaging will adversely affect the stability of the product.
James Alexander glass ampoules offer all of the advantages that make glass the indispensable package for many applications. Not only will our glass ampoules extend product shelf life, they are also ideal whenever tamper resistant packaging is a must, when the formulation is sensitive to environmental exposure, or when the application calls for a two part system where the materials need to be mixed immediately prior to use.
James Alexander's unit dose swab package offers an economical, convenient delivery system with a variety of applications for topical medicinal and non-drug products. James Alexander's unit dose swab consists of a hermetically sealed glass ampoule or ampoules, a flexible plastic tube, an absorbent applicator tip, and a cap that serves both for protection and product identification.
In 1982, James Alexander Corporation developed and introduced a new style of inhalant that offers ingenious packaging simplicity while still retaining the advantages of the old style inhalant. The new JAC inhalant consists of a sealed, crushable glass ampoule enclosed in a cellulose acetate absorbent layer with an outer cover of paper that allows for appropriate product identification.
