Dana Brothers Diesel Repair is by far the most professional and helpful shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. Carter’s customer service from the very beginning was unsurpassed by any other shop I’ve used or even contacted. The work was very thorough and they went above and beyond to help me get my truck through emissions after having trouble the first time. Last week I brought my ford F350 to Dana's for Diesel Turbo compression issue. They identified the issue and fixed it along with oil change and filters. I was given a 2 page report on 8 items they said needed immediate attention, that totaled almost 6,000.00. I know my truck very well and know all repairs I do on yearly basis. I told them not to do any of the items on list.
I brought my truck to my mechanic and had them check everything on the list. Their comment to me was the truck had no issues listed from the list. They did find a very small power steering leak.

Dana Bros. provided excellent service and workmanship all the way through the process. Carter was our main point of contact and kept us informed on every detail regarding the status and progress. We had a very complicated issue with our truck that involved an insurance claim, due to getting contaminated fuel from the pump. Dana Bros and their Techs immediately took the right action by collecting samples and evidence of the bad fuel inside the tank. Dana Bros has done exceptional work on bulletproofing our 6.0 Diesel Excursion, and helped us get it ready for towing. Most recently, I had them install air lifts and dash gauges. I'm so glad we did as we just made it back to Phoenix with our 8k lb rig from Flagstaff. I've found Josh Dana, the owner, to be professional, honest, and willing to go above and beyond. 5 stars without a doubt!!

Took my 09 GMC Sierra to Dana Bros for a 2nd opinion after the dealership told me my truck needed major repairs. It did not. Dana Bros were very easy to work with and reasonably priced. They figured out what was wrong and fixed it quickly. My truck has never fun better. I highly suggest you guys use them. Dana Bros is the only place I will take my diesel moving forward!!! Customer service is top notch. Been going to these guys for over a year. Very thorough and their inspections with pictures and descriptions via text and email is wonderful. They are also very fast with their work. Diesels (especially 6.0 powerstrokes) aren't cheap when they break, but these guys try to keep it affordable and still still give you quality work with quality parts, which with older fords is necessary. They understand common issues and will also recommend preventative maintenance so you don't spend more money down the road with major breakdowns. Highly recommend!

I had taken my 6.4 Powerstroke to a few different place and had quite a bit of work done and the other places were OK, but I never felt really confident walking out as a first time diesel owner with a problem truck. Found Dana bros. when the truck developed a leak and while the fix was not cheap, their process and professionalism was awesome! I loved the on-line system, text reminders and that they sent me pictures of what they found during the inspection. When I picked up the truck after the repair they had washed it and then scheduled me to come back in 30 days just to make sure no new leaks

While I very much appreciate that they got me in relatively quickly (3 days after calling), it wasn't the most pleasant or professional experience after scheduling. I spent a week failing to get hold of my dealership or any other in my area, so I was a bit desperate to get my truck fixed ASAP.
First, staff don't wear masks. I shouldn't have to risk myself and my family to get my vehicle repaired. I should have just left at that point.
Then the said the vehicle would be ready by noon. My husband went to get our truck at 4pm and it still wasn't ready. I get they were missing

These guys at Dana Brothers Diesel are just awesome. I cant say enough about them. My 05 F350 SD wound up needing a whole new motor and I was in a pinch for time. They just jumped in and did a blowout job and got me back on the road. Everything was awesome. The communication, the work, the service. All top notch. Thank you all especially Josh Dana. He went above and beyond the call to even help me diagnose things myself before it was taken in there.

Let me start off by saying this, I don't screw around when I look for places to take my truck. I refuse to take it to some half rate diesel shop. It took me weeks to narrow it down to Dana Bro's diesel (I looked at hundreds of reviews for companies valley wide) and to take my truck there. Let me tell you, the reviews are 110% accurate. These guys know what they're doing, call almost daily with updates as to where they're at in the repair. The repair was much less than originally quoted, and even helped out and took my truck through emissions so I could update tags. Already booked

I have been going to Dana Brothers with my 2004 Ford F350 for the last four years. I wanted a mechanic that understood the 6.0 Powerstroke and could help me keep my baby running a long time. Josh and his team are always professional, and go out of their way to listen to me, and explain why they are recommending the repairs my truck needs. They are not pushy, but they do help prioritize what needs to be done if there are multiple repairs.
I absolutely recommend them if you have a diesel that you want to keep running. They have been honest, and understanding when projects have had to be done

Had a 2005 Mustang GT, Black on black and sexy as could be! Under the hood, had a bad timing chain and transmission. Dana Bros did both repairs and I ran her up to 250,000 miles before I sold it. Had the car 7 years and had all the repairs done with them. Love them! I have an issue with the person who would give a great business a 1 star because they didn't answer the phone one time. Let's see them get under the hood and do some real work, cause the only thing they need is an attitude adjustment!

I recently took my van in to Dana Brothers for brakes. I typically take my van to the dealership but have felt that they were not being trustworthy and also not fixing things they say have been repaired. So I took it to Dana. They are super friendly, very quick to respond with estimates, always answer the phone and most importantly they're honest. They fixed my brakes that the dealership did incorrectly and caused my brake pads to go sideways. They only charged me for what was repaired and didn't do all brakes and rotors as they could have done since I didn't know where the problem

I was going to do an oil change at home. However, I was having issues with the oil drain plug coming out. I decided to go to Dana Bros because it wasn't too far from my house. Within 5 minutes( they seemed busy as well) they had my car lifted using a car jack and the mechanic left the drain plug slightly lose, enough for me to go home and do an oil change myself. I went to the cash register after and they said, " You don't have to pay". To be honest I was expecting a small fee at least. They are a local business and helped out a neighbor for free! Thanks!

Did a out of town vehicle inspection, if they could get 6 stars I would have clicked them, kept me in the loop with pictures and messages the whole time and followed up with a phone call and detailed inspection report if your buying a diesel truck in Arizona do yourself a favor pay the inspection fee and let them do the rest!!

I've read so many nice things about this shop that I wanted to bring in my Dodge diesel truck that I've been having trouble with. Tried calling and no one answered. Went to voice mail and it was full couldn't even leave a message. So I took my truck elsewhere. They may be really good, but if you don't answer or can't leave a message, you're going to lose business.

I was so glad to find this shop during a stay in Mesa. They did a thorough inspection of my truck (Ford F-250 Diesel) before making some much needed repairs. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. They really went the extra mile for me. They fully explain repairs, and their rates are fair, and only high quality parts are used. I got burned by Dana brothers and I will never go back. Truck ran fine before they tried to fix an oil leak. Tech timed injection pump 180 degrees out of time and josh Dana said I needed a new transmission and injection pump. I watched josh re-time my injection pump the whole time he said that was not the problem. Truck started and I left that evening. When I got back to my shop several injectors was leaking truck ran rough. I tightened the injectors truck ran fine. I did not need a new injection pump or transmission truck went to 660,000 miles and sold it still running. So I do a

Josh and his team are excellent. I cracked the block in my 7.3 and searched forever for a good diesel guy in the valley. After getting several quotes and talking to other shops that couldn't tell me anything that showed they even knew what a 7.3 was, I went with Dana Bros. Best decision I could have ever made to put in a new motor. They were professional, quick, and very thorough. Josh even let me bring him the donor motor, aftermarket parts, and the oil!
