As Mrs. Tauzin was working for various agencies as a music therapist and developing her counseling skills over the course of many years, she felt as if there was another calling on her heart to further integrate the two disciplines and expand her reach to better serve her community. Considering her love for music and helping others, the pathway for this practice was created!
During the intake, you will receive a clinical interview. We may ask you to complete questionnaires as necessary, to determine the nature of your symptoms, interests, and preferences. From here we will create a treatment plan by formulating goals together to target the areas of need important to you.
Laura is the founder of Sound Health Counseling Solutions, LLC. She is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, National Board-Certified Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and a Certified Animal-Assisted Play Therapist. She earned a B.S. degree in music therapy from Elizabethtown College, a M.S. degree in Music Education from Towson University, and a M.S. degree in mental health counseling from Capella University.
She is a Board-Certified Counselor, a Board-Certified Music Therapist, a Registered Play Therapist, and Certified Animal-Assisted Play Therapist.
