In addition to having an adventure dog who always seems to be wet a muddy, I also had someone spend the night in my car smoking and doing drugs. Needless to say, my car was a disaster. Mark is very personable and did an excellent job removing a metric ton of dog hair and cleaning my seats. My car looks better than when I bought it. He also touched up a long scratch where my car had been keyed and it looks so much better. His services are expensive but you get what you pay for!

Mark did an absolute wonderful job with both my vehicles. One had a horrible smell, the other, a leak that soaked the carpet and pad underneath. He figuratively and literally guts the inside to find the source of the issue and then fixes it. Both cars came back looking like new. He also deals with insurance which saved me a lot of money in the long run.

Mark did an amazing and super-fast job detailing my '09 Malibu inside and out (including a wet sand that made the finish look new again). I recommend him HIGHLY !

Took my car here last fall. I was quoted $250.00 to wax my black 370Z. When I got the car back the price jumped to over $600. Then when I get the car I can see whirl marks all over the car. Mark apologies and takes the car back. He brings me the car back but once I see the car in the sun I still see whirl marks. After paying double the estimate I am upset. I can him again and says he has not been feeling well but doesn't have to to fix it. He said he is leaving for vacation and will contact me once he gets back. I hear nothing after a month. I leave him a voice mail and never heard back. This car

Have taken four cars to Mark and they look brand new when they return. No small feat with kids, dogs and being messy car people.

If your car has water issues - look no further. Mark knows his stuff! I first went to Details by Mark when he were located in SE Portland, my trunk was taking in water and they were the only place that could find the problem. So when my brand new Forester's moon roof was left open during a heavy downpour, I knew where to take it. Mark is quick to respond, is transparent, works smart, and is great with insurance companies. He even picked up my car at work (in Beaverton) and provided me with a loaner. I absolutely recommend his shop!

Mark does excellent work. I have been taking my cars to him for about 5 years now and am always extremely satisfied with the level of detail! On two separate occasions he cleaned cars for me that I planned to sell...both cars sold to the first person that looked at them.

It was nothing short of a miracle what Mark did to the inside of my newly acquired car! It looked new on the inside when he was done. I am so impressed. He was easy to work with and a true professional.

Details by Mark is amazing! Recently, I found mold in my car and I was distraught! I called Mark and he talked me through every single detail concerning my car. He even picked my car up and I live in the downtown area! He truly went above and beyond! Nonetheless, Mark's customer service is impeccable and surely will not disappoint!

I don't have enough good things to say about this process and about Mark's communications and dealings throughout the experience. I'm used to bad and at best mediocre experiences when it comes to cars and car vendors and dealers. The process usually takes far too long, the communication is poor, and I almost always get the car back feeling as though I've somehow been robbed and overcharged. I feel the exact opposite with my experience with Mark and his shop, Details by Mark.

I had Mark detail the exterior of my car. The car is a 2004 VW R32 Black Magic Pearl paint. That paint is very difficult to make look good and Mark did a fantastic job making this pearl paint shine beautifully! I hate to say it but I can't wait to take the car back to have him detail it again it looks SO GOOD!

I've taken several vehicles to Details by Mark over the years, and I've been quite happy with the results. He's done a particularly great job on repairing seats and interior components. The leather seats that he just restored for me came out fantastically - I honestly can't tell that they were scratched and ripped, and they look brand new on a car that is 17 years old. Seatbelts, rugs, and other details are done very very well. He made the black paint on my car look absolutely stunning, and cleaned up the minor nicks/scratches with skill based on what is obviously extensive

Please do your research before hiring these folks. Old Yelp reviews were good (pre-2011) about this company but if you check on Angie's List the reports should trouble you. He can do good work but be very cautious as his personality - and truthfulness - changes drastically when the customer complains. I've had several cars detailed by him and thought he was a hard working and honest guy. Well, he works hard ...but it may not be at doing good work! Please, please be cautious.

Mark is an absolutely phenomenal detailer. Brought my very low mileage 2012 Jeep Liberty to him for a pre-sale detail. My wife had somehow managed to scrape the entire right side from front to back with some unknown object (that’s her story), so Mark had me pick up some touch-up paint from the dealer, just in case. As it turns out, Mark was able to buff the entire right side out crystal clean, without any use of the touch up paint. Additionally, it had been smoked in, and that is now completely gone. My sister took my car to Mark to surprise me with a complete detail of my Mazda CX-9. Given I have two labs, it was in need of some TLC. In the process, Mark discovered I had mice nesting I my engine! Bottom line he took care of helping me deal with the problem, works with my insurance and did an amazing, amazing job. I will never look any further than Mark for a complete car detail job. He is over the top awesome!

Just had my 1 ton 4 door truck detailed. Mark and his team did a fantastic job. All little scratches and paint damage is gone. The interior looks new. He did the whole truck inside and out for a very reasonable price, provided me a loaner car, and I had my truck the next morning. I'll definitely be coming back.

Mark and the team at Details By Mark did more than just an amazing job detailing my little mini cooper, they performed a miracle! My boyfriend surprised me by arranging the detailing of my car for my birthday, complete with renting me a car and telling me nothing about where he was taking my little red cooper. I took a 1996 Volvo to Mark for detailing before selling it. The car had had hard use, and the leather upholstery was badly cracked and worn. When we picked up the car it was like a different automobile. I don't know what he did, but now the upholstery doesn't scream "shabby" when you open the door. The interior is actually inviting! I know that because of Mark's careful detailing, this car will be a stand out when we go to sell it.
