Many car owners will experience a time when their vehicle is no longer in any condition to be driven further and have no resale value. Midwest PGM can recycle them. Here at Midwest PGM, we purchase various types of automotive core products, including Starters, AC Compressors, Calipers and more. Considering how effectively copper can be recycled, why burden the planet by mining for new copper?
Many car owners will experience a time when their vehicle is no longer in any condition to be driven further. Even if it's running and still has a few years of use left, there's often no resale value. So, what can you do instead? You can consider recycling your car! It's a practical way to get rid of your vehicle without adding to the landfills, while making some decent cash for its components.
A caliper is part of the disc brake system. When you press the brake pedal, the brake fluid flows from the master cylinder to the calipers. Brake fluid then applies pressure on the piston inside the caliper, pushing the brake pads against the rotors to slow/stop your car. A car can have either 2 or 4 calipers.

Hugo was very helpful on the phone and in person. Midwest PGM is the only re-cycler out of 10 I tried that paid the current rate per ton for scrape. He paid three times as much as other quotes in cash. Fast, no hassle.
