There's a huge variation in the quality of their coaching staff.. we were clearly unlucky in the toddler class. Our experience also felt like a bait and switch, because the trial class was with a different instructor and as soon as we paid, the instructor had changed. May not have been intentional - but that's how it worked for us.

Tumble with your tots is a great experience for the little ones and parents. Mackenzie makes the experience even better with giving the young ones some structure but freedom to play and be kids. We tried another similar facility and the space was not as spacious for the kids to explore and the instructors were not as caring, energetic, and fun.

Very reasonable pricing, and they clean every few mins during the pandemic. Coaches for younger ones are super friendly. They don't provide a lot of challenging drills for under 6 year olds which might be both good and bad.

Dear Brianna 8000 I work for West valley gymnastics and I challenge you to point out where our floors are ripped. We work tirelessly to keep our equipment up to spec and safe. Your review seems more vindictive than a constructive form of criticism. I will also point out we have not been open for the past three months, so a critique of our facilities a month ago is not current with our operating policies as of now. We clean our facilities regularly three to four times a day.

We have spent a lot of money on classes with very little progression. This combined with an unfriendly front office makes attending somewhat questionable. Kids like the social aspect.

I have forgotten about this business and I can only hope it has improved. I don't even know where to start.
First off, the general manager is corrupt. All the employees here severely underpaid and overworked, even considering most of them are maybe 15 years old max, ruining around in super short shorts. Sends a great message to the children attending there.

Last summer, my daughter came back from class with spider bites all over their hands and feet. In the summer there is no AC so they just roll the garage doors up and let the children participate when it's 106 degrees inside. Even

Class sizes are too large. They do all the classes in this large area. I feel teachers are overwhelmed by class sizes as well. My daughter went here for almost 4 to 5 yrs and had very minimal growth.
My son has some special needs and they said they can handle that, but they didn't do a good job. I could see him working very hard with not much support from the teacher.

I'm very disappointed with West Valley management that they still did not realize the problems they had with their Xcel Program. Instead of acknowledging & fixing the many issues that were mentioned on the many Yelp reviews, they made comments on my original review that I strongly disagreed. My family didn't correspond with any Xcel coach or manager how much my daughter enjoyed West Valley nor did we express how thankful or how much my daughter would miss the gym. When we put in our notice to drop from the Xcel program to the Xcel director Jessica Robles, no one from West Valley

My baby did the toddler gym class. I spent way too much money for what little the class offered. Basically an open play class and no directions. I was constantly having to move my baby out of the way of the older kids, since it was a few different classes at the same time and my baby tripped a lot since the floor is not even in many spots. Very disappointed in the class but the staff was very nice.

This place is filthy ! They dump a ton of kids in this complex and just want tour money. Very high turnover ratio for coaches. Many of them leave in the middle of the season. Many of the instructors are lazy and don't like their jobs. Have no enthusiasm with your kids. They just want your money. Do a trial class, you'll see for yourself

My daughter is now 2.5 and has been taking the tots class since January 2019. We were placed in coach Jessica's class at that time. She is a wonderful coach! She gives each child individual attention by encouraging them, showing them how to try new things, demonstrating the exercises, etc. during free play and during group (circle) time. She is always happy and smiling and is extremely patient with the kids in the class. She makes my daughter excited to be at gymnastics every week!

The tots class has gotten bigger in the last few months, so coach Courtney also teaches the tots class alongside

It is disheartening to see Jennifer Beck's comments to not only my review but the one my daughter and her friend wrote. To state online bullying occurred because someone dared to exercise their First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Speech and take a stand for themselves and others is ludicrous. I can personally attest to the veracity of statements made First B. and Dorcas V in their yelp reviews.

Jennifer insists repeatedly that many issues brought forward in these yelp reviews don't need to be addressed. Perhaps the reason so many negative reviews have been written regarding West

I went to this gym for almost 4 years, and I loved it. And I made some of my best friends ever. But my coach didn't like that. She said we had an attitude when we didn't. And I'm just so glad to be out of this toxic environment. You know what is really sad, the first time I have ever been bullied was by a 50 year old women at the gym. Ya, a manager at the gym bullied me and made me cry in the bathroom. I would never recommend this gym, unless you want to be mentally unstable for the rest of your life and go to therapy every week because you have been bullied by full grown adults

The JO program is outstanding. I was in that program for 4 years. Although it was challenging, overall, I loved every second of it. The coaches pushed me to my limits to make sure I can become the best gymnast I could. I became more strong, flexible, and disciplined than I ever thought I could be.
I can't say the same about the Xcel program. It felt like I went to a completely different gym. Straight into it I noticed some things that seemed a little sketchy to me. Jessica, the head of Xcel and pretty much our only coach, was constantly on her phone while we repeated our routines over

My daughter has only been with West Valley (WV for short) since the first of December but has been in the gymnastics world for years. In our limited time at WV, I'm personally blown away by our experience thus far. My daughter has been heavily involved in gymnastics for the past 7 years, and has been competing for the past 4 years. We have been a part of a few gyms in the South Bay but truly, none compare to WV.
When my daughter first arrived to her try out, the entire team came off the floor to meet her and introduce themselves. At previous gyms when a girl would come to try out- the vibe

This gym has done a massive nose dive over the past year! Although billing and communications have always been lacking, that is nothing compared to the terrible management of the competitive and recreational programs. We've been here since my daughter was 4 (she's 13 now), and I'll admit we stayed because of the convenience of location. But wow, is it expensive compared to other local gyms. After being part of the xcel program for 5 years, my daughter lost interest in competition, but continued over on the rec side. But it's a revolving door of coaches, and now classes have

The recreational gymnastics are OK but the kids learn slowly. Over a year to get to a cartwheel at age 7-8. Kids like it though and do eventually learn something. The office is a mess, terrible policies, bad internal communication, and very weak on make-ups. It is packed at peak times so the kids like the social aspect but that is also why the learning curve is questionable.
The make-ups are almost impossible, offered only 1-week per month, get full but can't get scheduled ahead. They will not refund anything and periodically wipe your credits off their book so it is a bit of a money-grinding

BEWARE!

This gym does not have your child's best interest in mind! My daughters went to gymnastics camp and ended up watching 2 hours of movies. When my daughters were scared by the PG rated movies they were showing, the staff ignored them and they were forced to stay in the room.

When I spoke to someone on the phone about this the next day, she told me there was nowhere else they could go and they would have to stay and watch the TV during morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack as they did not have enough supervision. The other camp coaches were also overheard by my daughters talking

Don't waste your time. Nobody ever knows what's going on. They sent multiple emails saying they had different days open when in the end they didn't have anything open. Who is running this place? They are in need of a website overhaul! There are other facilities that have great gymnastics and customer service. To be fair my kid likes Wv, and I've met some great coaches there, but dealing with their admin staff is not worth the headache and frustration. All the one star reviews are not lying!

My daughter has been attending classes here for the last year and a half and I am so very pleased with this space. She began in the tumble with your tot class and now is in tumble bugs twice a week. She loooooovees her time here and I feel really grateful for all of the coaches we interact with. They do a really wonderful job at making sure each child is seen. I appreciate that.

The facility has been around for awhile from my understanding and I think we are paying exactly what we signed up for: tons of kids doing gymnastics. I don't expect this facility to be tidy and shiny and spotless

The one star is a reflection of customer service. We have been members of WVG for a couple of years and have noticed a decline in the friendliness of the front desk staff specifically my interactions with Kristen, the office manager. She is very kurt and not customer service friendly or orientated. While I understand that not all requests can be accommodated I would at least appreciate a friendlier tone and mannerisms in general. Kristen is very black n white and doesn't use common sense. In addition she makes it apparent when she is done speaking to you as she just looks away or continues

Don't waste your time here. It's your standard overcrowded gym in a warehouse, where they probably have their older Gymnasts work off their "hours".

IF I COULD I WOULD RATE THEM WITH NO STARS!!

Been on the waiting list since late Jan after a tryout. After the tryout we were placed on a the waitlist for Sat 9a & 10a. Almost half a year later, we're still waiting for the 9a class.

RUN!!

Find another Gym... the wait list is ridiculous!! Been told since we signed onto the waitlist that we were #2, and just about half a year has gone by with no class. Been told once

My pre-school daughter has been going to West Valley for a few months now. Coming here takes me back to my youth when I took lessons at a different gym. I always loved gymnastics and I'm excited to see my daughter enjoy it as well.

This gym isn't fancy. It's not in a highly sought after location with great shopping and Starbucks all within walking distance. It's in a warehouse, as I would expect it to be. It's a gymnasium training potential future Olympic athletes, it has all the necessary equipment. Does it really need to be sparkly and pretty? If you want something

PROS
- My kids loved this place. My daughter says, "Give it 5 stars mommy!"
- The facilities are large and they have many cool things like foam pit, trampoline, bars, beams, etc. They didn't have this much equipment at the LGSRC classes which are just in a regular classroom.
- The instructors were good. My kids liked them. They seemed to know what they were doing.
- Kids get a coloring sheet and hand stamp after each class.
- The kids in the classes were well behaved, listened well to the instructors and were

Girls started to go this year and really loving the classes so far! They are in the Tiny Tumblers and love doing the rope, hanging off the bar, jumps, and jumping into pits of soft foam. They can't wait to go every Saturday. The teachers are very patient with them and make the class fun. The class is 45 minutes and its once a week and costs $88 per month so not expensive. Classes always start on time. I think this is a great place for my kids who love it!

Brought my 3 1/2 year old son here for a trial "tumble tots" class today and it was a disaster. This was his first time at this gymnastics studio, and he was overwhelmed and frightened. He wanted me to stay with him, but parents aren't supposed to - and he got hurt on one of the first things he tried (a rope swing he'd never been on before). I got him calmed down, and then it was time to go to another area. This next area was in the back of the gym, behind a big wall and I couldn't see him. I could hear him upset about it, so I took off my shoes and walked in there
