Spaces created by missing teeth may cause your remaining teeth to shift out of position and make them more susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease.
If your gums (i.e. - periodontal area) are swollen and tender or bleed easily when you brush your teeth, you may have gum disease. Prevention begins with the control of plaque and calculus, the main cause for gum disease. Scaling and root planing are non-surgical procedures performed to remove periodontal infection from below the gum line.

A review for this dental crew is long overdue. I cannot thank them enough for easing my nerves during fillings, etc. I have seen Dr. Yuriy several times now and highly recommend him as a dentist. Debbie does an extremely thorough cleaning job as well. The staff is accommodating and kind. Keep up the good work!

I went in for an implant.. It was my first one. Dr Ari was so pleasant and knowledgeable. He made sure I was comfortable. I thought it was going to hurt a lot, but it didn't even hurt a little. Even while he was drilling in my head. I didn't even cry once! After the anesthesia wore off, there was still no pain. My friend couldn't believe it. He said when he had a tooth pulled, he was in pain all day. So. You guys have a recommendation from me. And I will recommend anyone who asks. A+

Great dentist! Dr Ari did a wonderful job on my teeth last week! I came in because i had pain on my tooth and he did a painless root canal on me! And the best part is it did not hurt at all after the numbing wore off. He did a fantastic job explaining the procedure, and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend plainview dental!

I’m very pleased with my experience at Plainview Dental. Dr. Yurey was wonderful! He is exceptionally quick patient, efficient and an all-around wonderful dentist. I was nervous and dreading my root canal, but he made the experience easy and as not painful as expected. The office staff was accommodating, warm and efficient. I highly recommend this practice:)

A truly pleasant dental office to be a patient at. Debbie provided me with a thorough cleaning, and Dr. Ari (and his assistant April) helped with a chipped tooth that needed a crown. Vivian in the front desk is always a joy to see and interact with. I’d recommend this dental office to all my family/friends!

Today was my 3rd visit to Plainview Dental and it just goes from great to better than great! As a fellow (retired) health care provider, I can say with 100% conviction that Dr. Ari Mosheyev is one of the best dentists i have ever had work on my teeth. He is a consummate professional, yet a down to earth doctor who clearly explains what he is doing as he goes along. This is important to me. In addition to replacing two crowns (which I was petrified to have fixed - as I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to repairing old and troublesome work), his office has state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment

All staff were great, from the front desk staff to the dental hygienists, very nice and caring, the waiting time was minimal. Dr. Ari and Dr. Yurey were very friendly and patiently explain everything in detail, Dr. Ari did the procedures for me today...it was like a walk in the park. Two thumbs up for Plainview dental!!

The dentist, dental hygienist and assistants, and receptionist were all so prompt, attentive, pleasant and efficient in providing knowledgeable quality care. Everything was well-explained which improved my level of comfort and trust, and the procedures were thorough and painless. The innovative new imaging technology was impressive also. I plan to continue treatment at this wonderful office with great people, and would recommend others to come too
