Services
Motor vehicle accidents can have devastating effects on the body. It is not uncommon to see everything from whiplash and fractures to muscle strains and tearing. Physical therapy is important in helping those who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, as it helps to reduce stiffness and improve range of motion, while also aiding in overall recovery.
Physical therapy can provide valuable education and treatment options for fall prevention and improvements in balance and coordination. We utilize the latest standardized tests and measurements found in medical literature to test for fall risk and to assist with designing individualized treatment plans.
In order to minimize your wait time in our office we have posted some of our forms online so that you can view and print them in advance of your first visit. Need an appointment? If you have a friend or family member who would like us to contact them to answer any specific questions, or if you would or would like to have us call them to schedule appointment, please let us know.
No. State laws in Illinois have recently changed, so you can see your physical therapist without a prescription. Medicare cases still need physician prescriptions, however. The first session lasts about an hour for the evaluation. Follow up visits take between 45 - 60 minutes. The duration of your treatments will depend on your needs, the doctor's recommendations, and hands-on time with the physical therapist.

Moffett Physical Therapy was recommended to me by a neighbor and I was pleasantly surprised by the kind and professional staff. Cheryl, Jesse, and Natalie are kind, friendly, understanding and of course are very knowledgeable about their work. If you’re looking for a more personable place to rehab with respectful and knowledgable staff, this is the place for you!

Love this place! The “hands on” approach they use to help my shoulder recuperate from rotator cuff surgery is excellent. I never have to wait for my appointment which I love. They really care about their patients and it shows through how they work with patients through their detail and expertise in physical therapy. Highly recommend Moffett physical therapy.

Moffett Physical Therapy is THE place! I have been a patient for years, and each time I come in I am greeted with a smile. Cheryl is very thorough and ensures you leave feeling better than you came in. She really cares about how you are doing and wants to get you better to get out and get back to what you love doing. I enjoy coming and knowing I’m in good hands.

I have been working with both Cheryl and Edith to resolve my frozen shoulder at the LITH location and couldn't be happier. Everyone there is friendly and supportive. I only have one session left before being discharged and will actually miss my time there. Thank you for giving me back the full use of my left arm, the lively conversation and the skills to continue working on this at home.

I've been going to Moffett for over 2 years now. I tore my ACL over a year ago and recently had shoulder surgery. Thanks to the staff, I was able to get back to my sport quicker than expected. The therapists are very well trained and are very good at their jobs. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are healthy again. I highly recommend Moffett PT for someone who wants to truly get better and have a fun time while doing it!

Over the years, my son and I have both been patients of Moffett Physical Therapy - on numerous occasions. The staff and therapists have always been knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly, super helpful in getting us back to a functional status. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help getting back to their active life!! As a matter of fact, I liked Moffett so much, that last year when I was here receiving therapy after being hurt at my last job, I ended up getting a job working for Moffett Physical Therapy. :)
