Over the years, Brazilian fare has gained popularity in many metropolitan areas of the country and now it's finally made it to the New Haven area. There are two names we would like to explain to you. The first, Churrascaria, is what we call a Brazilian steakhouse. It comes from the Portuguese word churrasco which can be translated as "barbecue".
Churrasco is a traditional way to prepare meats throughout Brazil and especially in its southern parts that border Argentina and Uruguay. The second name is Rodizio, a style of service in which, for a fixed price, food is brought continuously to the table until the customer is satisfied. We serve 12 different types of meats.

Services
The restaurant is located on the corner of Elm Street and Washington Ave, just one block off Campbell Ave. For a fixed price, our traditional Rodizio service includes all-you-can-eat portions of meat, salads, and sides (desserts, taxes, beverages and gratuity are additional). We also offer a buffet where food can also be purchased by the pound.

A hidden gem. it is a small umassuming place....different from ither pricey churraskaria i've enjoyed before.
We drove far to try them out and wasnt dissapointed. wend kust before dinner time and the lunch selection was still available and delicious. you can either to a $8 per pound buffet or an all you can it choice for $30. the staff are knowledgeable and very courteous. my kids had the per pound servings while the adults dug into the all you can eat. gtray choice. they marinate the meats well and the olace is inpecably clean. my whole family love it. we will be back.

Took a trip to CT to help a friend and decided to try the rodizio in the area. Called to find out when it ended, and the gentleman who answered was very helpful and gave us good advice to show up early. When we arrived it was empty, maybe 2 families, than about ten minutes later is started to get packed. Our waitress came over and explained tonuse how rodizio worked, including how to signal when to start, take a break, or stop the meat from coming to the table by using the colored wood block on our table. So you order a drink than go to the buffet table that is included. They have a good variety
